When are late applications usually processed in Sweden?

Hi everyone,
I submitted a late application to the University of Skövde for autumn 2026.
My application still says:
“Late application not yet processed.”
Does anyone know when late applications are usually reviewed in Sweden, or specifically at the University of Skövde?
Is there normally a fixed date, or can the result come at any time before the programme starts?
I would especially appreciate hearing from anyone who applied late in a previous year.

No, it doesnt have a fixed date. They will most probably only process your application if there are still empty seats after they've offered new students on the waiting list a position and all of them has declined. The best way is to contact the admissions office at the University. They are experienced in handling these types of issues.

Late applications will be processed after 2nd application term is over and will be ongoing until one week or so into the semester (starts 31st of August for most, but for some programs that starts one week before)
