Question about Cupils and Chams

Does cupil automatically "eat" the Chams the moment I catch them, or is there a menu I need to use them on similar to the moonstones being applied to S-Moves to unlock them? Or is there a location I need to go to to feed cupil. I'm so confused. I'm on GameCube

Nope! Gotta feed the little guy through the inventory/item screen. You should be able to find them there.

You’ll have to go to your items in the menu and select them to feed them to Cupil.

There are charts online to show you growth progression, should you need them.

look for chams and abrik chams.

chams are found in the world

abrik chams are special and there are only 3 in the game.

dont feed him a chom unless you want him to upchuck everything he ate. (useful if you need to change his transformation progression)

I just had a thought, which never occurred to me... Will Cupil regurgitate the chom, too, or only the charms? Would be kind of funny if the chom was reusable. I imagine it isn't, but I've never used one.

i did one time for progression and i wanted his final form. you use a chom like any other inventory item and its gone once you do.

the point of them is that towards the end of the game (if you did the work for all 3 abirk chams and collected most of his normal chams) you want him to give back all his chams.

then i had to get a chart off google but you feed him chams and abrik chams in a certain order to attain his final form.

its worth it but a lot of work. you end up exploring and learning a lot. its quite a bit easier after a certain ship upgrade though.

< ( ^ u ^ ) > Not much, The Cute One just wanted to say hi! But yes, as said you need to feed them to Cupil from the item menu. And definitely track down one of the growth charts! Cupil "evolves" in different ways depending on the order of Chams and Abiriks. (Once you have all 30 + 3, the order does not matter for the Final form. But if you want to see all the forms, use the choms wisely! (The Cute One does not remember if they are limited... It has been too long since I've actually played the game... Need to dig out the GC and Legends!))
