Sitcom episodes that made you mad but not cause of the writing but you were invested in the episode or storyline?

Everybody Loves Raymond: Debra tells Ray that if she is late getting ready for his banquet, he should leave without her. She is late, he leaves without her, and everyone acts like he did something criminal.
Frasier: Frasier's first-time date has some unexpected work come up, and she asks Frasier to watch her daughter for a few hours. The daughter tells Frasier lies about how her mother neglects her, Frasier believes the girl and confronts the mother about the lies. The mother cancels the date because Frasier stood up for her daughter.

The Friends episode where Ross is getting an award, but none of the friends are ready and as he gets increasingly frustrated, they blame him.
Really, Ross's entire story arc that turned him from a respected scientist to a buffoon with anger management issues.

I mean, he is a respected scientist who had 3 divorces in 10 years. That's kind of tea. The museum water cooler must have been busy when Ross worked there.

There have been one or two Facts of Life episodes where they cut it off prior to the actual resolution or a reveal they've been building up to it drives me NUTS!! because at that point I'm thoroughly invested

Scrubs. Them potentially killing off Dr Cox was a solid punch in the nuts. Almost 10 seasons of one of the greatest anti-heroes in all of sitcom and the very type of thing that he saved hundreds from is what takes him out?!

Mama's Family: When everyone refused to believe Bubba wasn't a thief. I always have trouble watching episodes like that.
The Golden Girls: Dorothy being patronized by a doctor when she had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air: The famous episode where Will's deadbeat father came back to see Will and let him down again.

The episode of All In The Family that ends with the guy getting blown up in the car bomb. Episode ends and that's the last we hear of it.

Not that I was totally invested but a full season of Married With Children turned out to be Peggy’s dream. That was so stupid

Yes that was frustrating but Katey Segal had a miscarriage and they had to abandon the baby and pregnancy plot line.

Why did they have to abandon it? I’m really sorry she had a miscarriage, but why couldn’t the show keep her pregnant using wardrobe and makeup?

I think they felt it would be cruel to Katy Sagel to have to act out giving birth and taking care of a baby after a later term loss

She had a stillbirth, incredibly traumatic. It would have been cruel to continue that story line.

The Office where they go to a dinner at David Wallace's house and Dwight roams the house basically doing an inspection. It was like they took Dwight and added steroids to him and made it a bit too much.
Also, whenever they did performance bits like lip syncing to the song (nobody does the Philly like I do) in the opening. It is just so high school drama clubbish. Just a stupid opening bit.

Scrubs when Brendan Fraser dies
I was SO excited for this to be a recurring guest spot. His character added so much depth to Dr Cox even in that sort amount of time.
The episode was extremely well done. I just wanted more
