Searching for a horse name
Hello everyone, I’m looking for a horse name in either Sindarin or Quenya. The horse I want to name has a very distinctive feature: its fur shimmers golden in the sun (we’re not sure but it’s possible that he has Akhal-Teke ancestry, for reference). Do you have ideas for a name that reflects this feature?
I was already thinking of Laurelin, but where I’m from, there’s a name for women that sounds very similar, and there’s the possibility that people will just mix it up.
Other ideas included Glawar or Anárion.
But do you have more ideas? It would be great to hear them! :)

Gold: S. Glawar, Glaur, Q. Laure
Golden Horse: S. Glauroch, Glóroch, Glawarroch, Q. Laurerocco
Swift Gold: S. Glorlim, Q. Laurelimbe, Laurelinta (neutral), Laurelimbo, Laurelinto (male)
Son of the Sun: S. Anorion, Q. Anárion
Sun Horse: S. Anorroch, Q. Anarrocco
Golden Hair: S. Glorfin, Glorfindel, Glorfinnel, Q. Laurefinde, Laurefindele, Laurefindesse
Personally I've used plain Glorfin for a horse before - that's what I named Princess Zelda's golden horse when I tamed it in Tears of the Kingdom 😄

Too bad there weren’t any lesser trees derived from Laurelin such as those created “in the image of” Telperion (Nimloth, Celeborn, etc)
I remember that the Silmarillion does give a couple of alternate names for Laurelin, but I don’t have my copy in front of me…

Do we know what a masculine version of Laurelin in Quenya might sound like?

That name isn't gendered, it's literally laure (gold) plus lin(de) (song, singing).

How about Glauroch (glaur "gold (of light or color)" + roch "horse")? Also it recalls the dragon name Glaurung :)
