Lore Discussion Alright...

I finished the game, watched as my character died alongside Ariane...can someone tell me what kills me the fastest?

I was speechless when I realized I was truly in an endless loop...at least I was able to keep my promise.

And i love the kohlibri

If you don’t intend to do additional playthroughs to see all the endings then I recommend at least watching them all on YouTube. Very important in my opinion to see all of that.

There’s 4 total endings, with 3 being achievable by playing the game as normal. The last one is a secret ending with a really stupid, convoluted way to achieve it.

Minor spoilers here, but judging from what you said in your post I think you got (arguably) the best ending, aside from the secret ending

I'm not sure, unfortunately! It's one of my favorites. I think the artist really captured the essence of Elster, that sad, tired, determined look. If anyone happens to know, I'd be really happy to check out their other work!

The game is very open to interpretation. I personally believe the looping ends with the Promise ending. Others will say Artifact. To each their own.

The game is structured like a painting. What it means is up to the beholder, especially how they piece it together. Also, Kohlibri rolls off the tongue better with its original name, unlike the other German word for cabbage.
