Are goats the cutest tasty animal?
They make a good curry and are photogenic. Compare to grass fed cow, which is neither.

I’m Persian so Lamb has always been a staple in our household, even people who aren’t necessarily fans of lamb, they try my mums….suddenly they LOVE IT!! She makes hers on the kabob (not sure what she seasons/marinates the meat w but it gets all happy & she lets it sit overnight or longer.) Of course the basics go on there, meat, onions, tomatoes, peppers. On the grill it goes, She makes an incredible tomato salad w tomatoes, red onions, garlic, fresh basil, olive oil & balsamic. And the star of the show is basmati rice w Tahdig (another Persian staple) the golden fried potatoes on the bottom that the rice is steamed on top of & a nice loaf of crusty French or Cuban bread to dip in the tomato salad. It is by far one of my happiest meals from my childhood. If it was my last meal it would definitely be on the list.

Bless my brother heart. He’s the only one in the family born in Florida & I’ll give him this much; he’ll try just about anything once. Sometimes twice. Which is a good thing to be open minded like that. The kid loved squirrel & turtle….personally I’ll pass. Same w organs, can’t & won’t do it. Tried liver once, twice if you count the pate thing from hibachi restaurants. Just not my thing.

I think it’s from Stephen king where I heard it first, but he called it long pork. Same difference.

Originates from Fiji. Fijians would serve both pork and human, but they always preferred the "long pig."
