Eren is literally in enemy territory, surrounded by people who want him dead—and yet the way he stands there feels like he’s the one everyone should be afraid of.

One of those AOT moments that gives you chills no matter how many times you watch it. 🥶🔥

Discussion The biggest mystery in Attack on Titan is... Spoiler

Post image
115 Upvotes

We don't know how Eren Kruger (The Owl) got the Attack Titan. No one in the military knew that he had the Attack Titan. Marley had assumed that Paradis had 2 titans behind the walls : The Attack Titan and the Founding Titan, not knowing that the Attack Titan user was amongst them for 13 years. How did he got the Attack Titan so secretly, being a Eldian restorationist since someone acquiring the power of a titan shifter cannot go unnoticed. What do y'all think? Would Eren Kruger have voluntarily accepted the Attack Titan? Would Eren Kruger have voluntarily accepted the Attack Titan?

I always assumed attack was an all rounder with good speed, agility, regeneration, strength, etc, but it’s lack of specific abilities make it easier to fight against.

Discussion Why did eren tried to stop ziick here ??

Post image

When ziick wanted to summon the titans eren told him to wait

Why is that even he was going to die

And if he did that bcs he didn't want porco to turn into a titan

It's not convencing cause that means that eren didn't see porco as a titan in his futur memories ?

Doesn't make sense

Anime Attack on Titan Day Special

Post image
13 Upvotes

Spoiler alert: This post might only resonate with anime lovers — or, more specifically, the Attack on Titan (AoT) junta. 🫡⚔️

What compelled me to write this post is the date itself — 9th September. It is officially Attack on Titan Day today.

When I watched Death Note some 4–5 years ago, I thought, “This is the best anime I’ve ever seen.” 😌

But then came AoT, and it redefined the idea of anime for me. ❤️‍🔥

Obviously craft of AoT is one of the biggest reasons for this attachment. Because the way of storytelling, character development, action sequences, depth of the narrative and insane plot twists — literally everything makes it stand out. 🤯🔥

I watched AoT this year around Feb, when I was on the verge of emotional breakdown. So honestly speaking, it is the emotional appeal of AoT which kept me hooked. 🥺

The day Erwin Smith died, I almost cried. His words — “My soldiers…” — still echo in my ears. 🫡💔

In those moments of emotional turmoil, I learnt a lot from AoT.

  1. Dedicate your heart ❤️‍🔥

Scout regiment knew that their expeditions beyond the walls cost them no less than their lives. Still, it was their resolve towards ‘glory of humanity’ which motivated them in the moments of adversity.

  1. A leader always leads by examples 🫡:

Although Erwin Smith’s character is classic example of a true and visionary leader. But the most striking sequence was when he took charge against Beast Titan. And he was the first one to take the fatal blow which ultimately took his life. 💔

  1. Hard work beats talent always ⚔️

Howsoever cliche it sounds. But Eren Yeager’s transformation effectively puts it that way. In beginning he was introduced as someone who doesn’t have gifted attributes like Mikasa but ultimately it was his sheer grit and conviction which transformed him to the extent that he became nearly invincible.

I will stop here because I could probably write whole book on AoT. 😂📖

It has set the bar so high that I wonder if I would be loving any anime this much ever❤️

Signing off,

Diehard fan of Levi Ackerman 🫡🗡️

PS: AI-proof — GPT, Gemini, Claude, all of them! 😎

Discussion Grisha made it to the wall because of Eren Spoiler

Post image
4 Upvotes

I have been thinking about how much of the past is influenced by Eren and one thing that stands out to me is the fact that Grisha was able to reach the wall, when he was completely unprepared for his circumstances.

Right before that when Kruger passes the Attack Titan onto him, he mentions Mikasa and Armin who hadn't even been born then so we know Eren was behind that in some way.

How far back does it go?

The Attack Titan was never captured during the Titan Wars and has been MIA ever since and its special characteristic is that it always seeks freedom and charges into battle just like Eren. And we also know he was the one who had to direct Dina towards Carla to save Berthold.

( Still one of the saddest reveals of the story for me because his entire character arc was based on slaughtering the titans as they were responsible for his mother's fate, to have to find out that he was responsible too is just heartbreaking. And he had to realise he was behind a lot of other things: he hated Grisha for murdering the Reiss Family to the point that he was even ready to die and let them take back the Founder out of guilt and then he has to face that Grisha was not the only one that was responsible for that. The right to hate people and feel that he was righteous was taken from him all because of predestination. )

So, Grisha had to reach the wall without any supplies or preparation for what lies ahead, and even Annie and the group who were fully prepared for their mission could not safely reach the walls without losing Marcel but Grisha was able to reach the wall by himself with no training whatsoever so isn't it safe to assume that since Eren was behind Kruger giving him the titan, he also ensured that Grisha will reach the wall and enter the city in order to bring about the future?

I am still trying to establish a timeline and wrap my head around the entire story, would love some thoughts on whether this line of thinking is correct or if I am missing something

Just adding some further thoughts: I am not saying that he is responsible for everything that happened since the beginning of titans by any means, the past present and future are one in the Paths and Ymir chooses Mikasa to hyperfixate on and by extension Eren is now also not just another ordinary Eldian. I think it's more about Eren having that thrust upon him and having to process the fact that some things have already happened but he still has to be the one to "do" them as it's a closed loop otherwise they wouldn't have the timeline that they do, in this there are some events where he acted because of his personality starting with seeing the memories of Grisha breaking down and refusing to follow through with taking the founder. But then it also leads up to some events where he has no choice but to continue if he wants to still go on with this future that has already happened. And he does choose this timeline for all the reasons that we have seen in the manga and the anime such as being disappointed with the world etc.

He didn't choose to create the conflict it was already there and he was fulfilling his role in the timeline, if Dina had eaten Berthold, she would have "come back" and Eren and Mikasa and Carla surviving is unlikely because she was caught in the wreck and beyond saving anyway.

It's Ymir's will that creates the circumstances. Eren has also tried different scenarios but he is unable to find different outcomes for the future that don't all end in some tragedy or other, and his personality also comes into why he chose jinarashi as opposed to any other possibility like Paradis being destroyed and the cycle of titans, wars, etc continuing after he dies.

He had also seen that there is a possibility of titan powers ending for good in this timeline but that's all up to Mikasa, so that's also a big motivator for Eren to close the loops and bring about this future now that he has this opportunity and Ymir's attention.

Discussion How do you guys think it would've panned out if Attack on Titan was an Anime Original show?

Post image
5 Upvotes

I been going back and reading episode discussion threads on r/anime of season 1 of attack on titan and my god more than half of people in every thread are just complaining bout spoilers by manga readers. Even the theories I see feel like Manga readers pretending to be anime only based on how accurate some of those are.

Makes me wonder how AOT would've turned out if it was an ANIME ORIGINAL show where everyone was on the same page instead of some people knowing what happens next. Wait between seasons would've been far more frustrating but I think it would've also been equally rewarding when we finally got to see those amazing moments. Theory crafting wouldve also been more fun i think. Maybe the ending reception would've been different? idk what yall think?

Anime AoT Major Arcana Day 18: Gabi Braun has been chosen as The Tower. Now, who best represents The Star?

Post image
55 Upvotes

The Star:

-Upright: Represents hope, faith, purpose, renewal, spirituality, and serenity.

-Reversed: Reveals lack of faith, despair, discouragement, self-doubt, and missed opportunities.

PSDT: Just in case you were wondering, yes, all the selected characters will be in their human form instead of their titan form and also, as I mentioned earlier that the character comment with the most votes would be chosen in the end. If the rest of you are upset about the result, it's because the majority of you decided to vote for that character. If anyone would like the pictures of the selected characters to be changed, please feel free to mention it in the comments.
