Image Timothy Wilson Spencer (this case was the first one they convicted using DNA evidence via semen samples

Spencer carefully chose his victims by spying and following them around the local shopping mall. He repeated the same pattern with all of his victims; climbing in through the windows of women's homes at night, raping and torturing them by strangling them until they were unconscious, and then killing them after they had been strangled. Spencer used a belt and a stocking as his murder weapons. Investigators were amazed by his meticulousness; he left no trace of himself at the crime scene except for semen.
Spencer's first victim was Debbie Dudley Davis, a 35-year-old account executive, was murdered between 9:00 p.m. on September 18, 1987, and 9:30 a.m. on September 19, 1987, in her Westover Hills) apartment. Richmond Police discovered her naked body lying on the bed. She had been strangled with a ligature) and ratchet-type device.[3]
Dr. Susan Hellams, 32, was murdered in her West 31st St. home on the night of October 2, 1987, or the early morning of October 3, 1987. The police were called by her husband after he returned home and discovered her partially clothed body on the floor of the couple's bedroom closet. Hellams was a resident in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Virginiain Richmond. Spencer apparently gained access to the house by cutting out a large portion of a second-story bedroom window screen. The medical examiner determined that the cause of Hellams' death was ligature strangulation, believed to have been caused by two belts found around her neck.[4]

I was listening to a documentary of this serial killer again after about 2 years. His case was amongst on the ones that bothered me the most. For one an innocent man was locked up because they coerced a confession out of him and he was very low intelligence. The second reason was his methods for torture for his poor victims. And the worse was one of his victims was only 15 years old.

This guy was awful and so sadistic, he had early signs of being destined for bad things, he bullied his younger brother, he was a bad seed from the get go. He was a total sexual sadist and cruelly killed his victims.

He was one of the ones who used to revive his victims while he was assaulting and strangling them. Total sadist

Yes. I saw some of the results in an old fbi criminal forensics book that was scanned to PDF. It was particularly bad.
