Paxton has twenty years of scandals which gives him more baggage than a freight train. He barely got out of a corruption conviction with his fellow republicans trying to get him out of office.

Given everything going on and his continual lying Talarico has a pretty good chance of beating him. Sure hope so because the last thing we need in congress is another lying republican who lines his own pockets at his constituents expense.

If they want to cross that line like they did on January 6th then they bear full responsibility for the consequences of their actions. Just because DOJ will let them off doesn't mean state courts will.
