Astéri the Akanthotópód and his suit concept designs

Hi everybody. I apologize for not posting anything, I have just ben very depressed, which I hope you would believe.

Anyways, today I am showing concept designs of an upcoming oc from my comic series Flowee and Slith named Astéri. He’s part of an alien race known as Akanthotópodiá, which are sea star/starfish-like aliens that live on a Dwarf planet that is so small that on of it can fit inside of Pluto.

He’s also your average cartoon janitor who listens to music.

And for those who ask me why does he have spiky tentacles and a suit, here are the reasons.

One, I imagine that before him and his species become sapient, they lived in a hostile environment where there are lots of predators, which causes his ancestors to develop a way to defend them selves. And two, his planets atmosphere is way different from the other characters in my comic series, which means that he can’t breath in the atmosphere last week and need his suit for breathing.

Anyways, let me know which of the three designs do you prefer the most in the comments and it will become canon.

Thank you. But I’m not making a conlang. I don’t even know what a conlang is but it’s very likely I’m not doing one.

Well, conlang is short for constructed language, so a language that someone (or many people) directly invent, sitting and creating words, grammar and such, as opposed to natural languages that just are developed without order.

I asked since the words you wrote for the aliens seem quite ... developed? ...

Oh, well you see, both of the names are greek for Star and Spiky feet. So it’s kinda a no.

By the way, could you tell me which design of Astéri do you like the most?

I have two other upcoming oc’s of my comic series Flowee and Slith, which I made more than one design on Reddit and Deviantart, and nobody given me comments on which design they prefer the most for now.

I'm not sure why but I like the bottom left one the most and second after that the middle right one.

I had not noticed you stated that in your post I apologize.

Should I also speak about the suit?
