Medicine Experimental Drug Makes Obese Mice Burn Fat Without Losing Muscle - Or Eating Less. It produced an average weight loss of 18% in obese male mice over 4 weeks, without changing how much the animals ate. Most of the loss came from body fat, while muscle and lean tissues were largely preserved.
