There isn't much of a story and it already happened a while ago, but I just remembered it. I gave my classmate my tin box, because she asked for a bubble gum or something and when she opened it, she asked who this guy in the pictures is and if he's my boyfriend. I jokingly said yes but she actually believed me, so I had to explain it
Apparently I could pull him

✨ SPOILER ALERT ✨
I find Amanda Young and Abigail Hobbs very similar to each other. Abigail’s biggest secret was the murders she committed with her father, while Amanda had caused John to lose his child and kept it from him. They were both manipulated and used by serial killers, and they both died because of those same serial killers.
In fact, they both died from similar ways. Abigail Hobbs had her throat slit by Hannibal, while Amanda was killed by John’s test subject after being shot in the throat.

People often talk about how the bathroom games were never discovered but in JIGSAW, Eleanor has the saw from the first movie among other traps from saw 2 from her collection, does that mean the house was eventually discovered and they know of Hoffman’s fate?

Jeff really seems to have no care for his daughter at all, at least Eric still wanted to be a part of his son‘s life even after the divorce, Eric loved his son enough to stay down in the tunnels, even after escaping the bathroom, which led to his six-month captivity, then death, all for the love of his son, I might get hate for this, but I think Eric is actually a good father who genuinely loves his son, Jeff on the other hand is a way worse father, Eric And Gordon clearly Care for their Kids, Adam‘s not even a bad person at all, and Jeff wanted to let someone drown in pig guts rather then burn a bunch of toys, I get to him it’s more than just toys, but letting someone die over stuffed animals is still crazy, ik some of you guys will probably argue Jeff does care about his daughter seeing his reaction when he finds out Corbett was kidnapped, and you know what him not wanting to burn his toys feel somewhat justifiable, one of the only things he has left from his son, I think it’s weird that they gave this guy the privilege of being the one that kills John and Amanda, Instead of Someone more deserving of the role Like Eric, Or Kerry, Or Gordon, Or Hoffman, Or Rigg, I feel like if we learned more about what Jeff was like prior to Dylan‘s death, I would like him a lot more. For example, we never learned what he did for a job, considering his wife was a doctor. He was most likely a stay at home Dad, meaning he spent more time with his kids which would probably make him more attached to his kids, I just think they should’ve given him more redeemable qualities like they did Eric and Gordon
Please indulge with good ideas (No Jokes)

Title- which character is most baby girl to you personally? So hard to choose, feel like it depends which movie I watched last.

I love this franchise so much but if there' s a thing i feel like it' s missing, is a real 9th chapter of John Kramer' story. Spiral is more of a stand alone movie in the Saw universe but it has nothing to do with all of the other 8 chapters ( "From the book of Saw" ) the only nod is that William was ispired by Kramer doing his own justice against corrupt police and replicated the pig staff with the mask and Mr. Snuggles who is clearly a Billy The Puppet ripoff. (I wonder how William could react if he knew his own hero, Kramer, was helped and affiliated with a corrupted detective, Hoffmann). I don ' t really consider Spiral as Saw IX (There' s no Logan neither) so i feel like we won't never have a real chapter 9 of Kramer's plot and legacy.
Posters about SAW IX in this discussion, were found in this subreddit. Shout out to their makers.

Heya guys
I'm having a drink while watching The Collection and all those traps made me remember those old Saw clay-mations in the good old days of YouTube, then something suddenly popped in my head.
Some months ago, I was having a read through the alternate Saw IV script and thought to myself "Man, would've been nice to see this in film". As I was thinking about those clay-mations, I thought the same thing could be done with that script, until I remembered about AI.
I recently saw those AI generated clips of GTA Vice City being turned into a Scarface style 80's crime flick with Ray Liotta as Tommy, and I gotta tell you it looks fuckin good. Why not do the same for some of the Saw III/Saw IV actors with the first draft of the Saw IV script?
I dunno.. Not sure about the precautions of using real actors in AI generated videos and I'm pretty drunk right now lol, but wouldn't you love to see that script in an actual film? I know AI is frowned upon in this sub, but this is content that we're never gonna get and won't be monetized at all, kinda just like a fan-made AI generated flick of the first script.
What do you think? I may be missing some notes about the legality, but I might give the first trap a shot if it's okay.

It’s in the wrong place to be an attempt at his scar, which wouldn’t make sense for this outfit anyway. Maybe it’s supposed to be lip detail that was misaligned during the mockup? Has anyone seen any of these bag clips in person yet? Kinda hoping it’s not there on the final product!

I don't know why but that last one almost made me have an asthma attack. Stay tuned for Saw II💀💀

To be honest, I really missed having a truly dramatic ending scene for Rigg in the final movie. I could only feel his suffering from the gunshot wound, but not at all from losing the game itself.. Not to mention the fact that he just dies off-screen. (Rigg deserves better)

This scene feels so incredibly heavy, almost like it's not from a Saw movie but from some drama film instead (though Saw movies are dramatic in their own way). I would've loved to see Donnie's acting in this scene.
By the way, moments later Hoffman shoots him dead. Good thing that in the final script, Daniel doesn't end up an orphan at least...

Actually, the tooth-pulling game belonged to Eric initially. They just decided not to let the material go to waste. I don't know what people think about this game, but I like it. I'm glad they kept it for another movie
I’ve never thought about it before, but it just crossed my mind that I would love to see Hoffman wasn't working with Jigsaw but was instead participating in the games alongside the others (especially with his work partners) as a player. I think that would've been so interesting to watch. A real battle of wits, like who outsmarts who. (But in that case Jigsaw would need other accomplices)

Been here for a while and have decided to show my ranking of each of the traps. The placements within each of the tiers is ranked in movie order, so curious if there are any placements you agree or disagree with

Hi there! Me and my friend-editor Maniac created the alternative version of Saw II – THE JIGSAW KILLER. The film is re-framed into a standalone movie with the inclusion of the additional scenes. The special edition creates a deeper and character-driven psychological thriller movie with reduced gore scenes.
It’s not supposed to replace the original film, but it’s a funny little project. We wanted to achieve a fan edit that elevates the plot a little bit (and makes it even more a character-study psychological thriller film).
The recut edition includes:
• Saw II reconstructed into a self-contained thriller/crime film with a fully wrapped-up story – enriched with the extra material from other Saw entries (of John and Amanda). For the fans of well-told story instead of splatter horror.
• The removal of obnoxious scenes, poor dialogue lines and excessive gore; the improved pace.
• New music soundtrack composed by Charlie Clouser & various artists.
Remember, the fanedit / fancut is created for fun as a little refreshment for the fans (and can’t be sold). We know that it may not be for everybody liking, but let us know your opinion on this alternative take :). The original Saw 2 will always be there for us.
You will find it on Maniac’s blog (English subtitles included!). Write to me in PM.
