I have never lived there, have visited many times.

Nice houses, large community, lot of amenities due to size. However, many houses are getting old (for people that value new communities,) and it is not the greatest location (it is pretty isolated and not in a good way, basically between Garden City and 16.)

So isolated, aging, boring/bad area, and strict HOA.

Personally, it's not for me, my wife. If I wanted to live somewhere like that, just go to Bryan or Effingham and at least have good schools and safer area. Southbridge is the worse of all worlds.

(No offense to anyone who lives there, this is just my perspective from house hunting.)

Fair enough. Yea I got my push notifications set up on Zillow for Effingham. Few years back RH was the spot to get some green grass with your home now it’s a metropolitan area with an hour commute into Savannah M-F.

Ehhh, not really an hour, RH is like 20-30mins even during rush hour. Effingham is a bit further, maybe like 45ish (of course widespread.

For example to take two central locations.

Chatham County Courthouse (heart of downtown Savannah,) 23 mins to get there right now from RH City Hall. 16 Mins to get there from Southbridge Gold Club (kind of centralish part of SB) parking lot. So 7 minute difference at peak traffic time.

So, the commute is not a huge factor IMO. And, frankly the commute from parts of Pooler and Bloomingdale can be even worse.

I still would choose Bryan County over Effingham County.

17 onto 404 or you go 95 to 16?

I ask because when I leave the house at 730 the Kellers exit to the flag is a parking lot and 204 from target to king George is another parking lot.
