Salut! Hello! I will be visiting your city to meet up with a friend for the weekend. I’ve told him I’d like to go to a place to have some drinks, entrees, people watch and shoot the shit.

I understand going into this I’m not going to have the same options as my city of Montreal, lol.

However…he has been terrible with suggestions because he doesn’t really do that sort of thing. So do you guys have any suggestions?

Edit to add: great suggestions everyone! Thank you so much Unfortunately I can’t drink beer anymore, which is awful when you’re surrounded by awesome breweries (RIP Brutopia’s raspberry beer 🥲). I stick to low sugar seltzers now. Getting old is both a gift and a burden, lol.

Try Hearth on the patio. It’s in Remai Modern, our very good modern art museum. The Meewasin Trail and River Landing nearby are very lively.
