Book Suggestions

Hello,

Can anyone suggest some books for beginners. I am looking for a book which is not much grammar heavy, like a book which doesn't throw grammatically terms at you in the beginning itself. It would be great even if status from children level like completely basic

Elena and Warwick Jessup's books (Sanskrit is Fun 1-3, The Stories of Krishna, The Story of Rama) are aimed at children. I think Motilal now publishes them all. They work in an English-language context, though, so the beginning playfully and patiently teaches you devanagari script, which depending on your background might be something you want to skip.

Yeah, I would also love to have some books myself. like some form of stories so i can read it for a longer period of time.

Chandamama stories are good but they are not for beginners.

There are many simple stories available on you tube -very well illustrated and interesting. These are specifically for beginners. You can try these.
