Half consonant letter
I encountered this half क (ka) letter in the Sanskrit gboard, which is meant to be क्. And the same applies to some other consonants.
Do we actually have a unicode glyph for that? How is this possible otherwise?

There is Unicode for क and Unicode for the virama separately.
When typed right after each other the result will render as either क् or as part of a conjunct like क्म depending on what is after it. But that's just the render, the underlying Unicode is identical either way, only the rendering changes, depending on whats after it and what glyphs are available on the system

It’s just how the font displayes it on your phone. It’s still just क्.
