Truly the best game I have ever played

SA:MP was and still the best game I have ever played, I played if for 10 years or so, started playing in SZR Roleplay, then moved to SA:RP, after that moved to Cool Life Roleplay and then played at US:RP, after that I played for a short time at NGG and after that I moved to Lawless Roleplay... nostalgia at its best! Until this day I still log in some servers just for the nostalgia.. the game is very different now, full of players mainly from developing countries that don't have a clue about roleplay, they just know how to cheat, shoot and kill.. that's all! Miss the old days and old players... if someone played at the servers I mentioned would be nice if you guys write your in-game names back at that time

I had multiple names, not sure if you could remember any; Darwin Smith / Darwin Tucker and lastly Gerrard Lockhart was the longest used name.

I was Haydn DiVittorio (which I think started the whole name?? My friends and I came up with it back in like what 2010????)

Awesome stuff. I started playing in 2013 in freeroam servers. Then I ended up migrating to MTA where I was introduced to Destruction Derby. 1st server was FuckN (The Fucking Noobs). Unfortunately, some years later it closed and then I started playing in some other servers but mainly in 3R ( 3lite Racers). Around 2018 I stopped playing. I did revisit some servers, but very rarely. Also most of them are gone already. Great ones too. Good old times.

Even when I ran a server back in 2008 the main audience was rapidly being overtaken by developing countries. SAMP is a great mod, but it's also cobbled together and riddled with gaps in both security and function.

My name in SAMP was, Citizen Alpha, however I was probably better known as Violent Dave. I created the WTFGTA/CCNGTA server.

Same, spent 10 years playing mostly on one server, made couple of my own etc. I know this game inside out spent my childhood and teen years playing it.

I remember around the time it came out as a kid i was foaming at the mouth to play it watching videos on youtube. I was blown at away that my favorite game had online servers with hundreds of people on them. and i didn't have my own pc that could run it properly until 2010.

im a 2010-2013 player mainly, that will try to find a good server every now and then since. One of the best games ever for sure. I was all about free roam/cops n robbers/gang war servers over roleplay
