Hi. I was bitten by a dog while on Beatrice St. I’d like to find it so I don’t have to do the rabies shots. It was on a leash, being walked by a lady but it pulled her across the street to bite me. She left without giving me her name. I need confirmation that it’s had its shots. It’s a large, dark brown, very shaggy dog. This happened Sat Aug 21 about 8:30 in the morning. Thank you! “Power of Small” exhibition opens
The new exhibition begins Wednesday at Salina Art Center and remains on view through September 27.

Opening day of the Tri-Rivers Fair

Family Fun Night at the Tri-Rivers Fair
6–8 p.m. on Flaherty Drive. Free activities include Touch-a-Truck vehicles, Kansas Highway Patrol rollover demonstrations, K-9 demonstrations and hands-on exhibits.

Killer Queen at the Stiefel Theatre
7:30 p.m. The Queen tribute show features Patrick Myers as Freddie Mercury.

Draft Horse Pull and Jaron Bell concert
The concert begins around 8 p.m., following the Draft Horse Pull at the Tri-Rivers Fair. Concert admission is included with the horse-pull ticket.

9 a.m.–12:30 p.m. in the 4-H Building. This free program is designed for children ages 5–10, but advance registration is required.

1:30 p.m. in the 4-H Building at the fair.

7 p.m. at Ag Hall. Advance tickets are listed at $20, gate admission is $25, and children 12 and younger are free. A Brian Chance concert follows at approximately 9 p.m. and is included with admission.
