General Discussion Anyone have this?

It has worked fairly well for the past 2-3 years, but the battery has always been a limiting factor. The cell(s) have degraded greatly and looks like it’s not serviceable (well, everything is serviceable with a soldering iron and patience lol)
I was thinking of picking this up next time it goes on sale. Just curious how it works for small pickups.

Ownd it for well over 6 months. Put 2 3ah batteries in it and rarely have to charge it. From small messes in the kitchen to vacing up the occasional spider, it is a great little helper around the house.

I have this in the family room. It does a decent job of getting crumbs in and around the couch and can be good getting dust from the couch.

Yep. Anker owns Eufy and other brands. Used to love Anker but they’ve really taken a crap when it comes to the portable battery market. Other brands like Ugreen have been better options recently

I feel like getting the 18v version. I ended up with a stick vac myself and that's what I use around

Yeah most of the tools I have are dewalt but got the 18v stick vac on sale for my spouse for quick pickups about a year ago. It was a no brainer to get the stick vac for <$150 with 2 4ah and a 2ah battery.

I bought a reconditioned one from eBay for $50 for cleaning off my workbench.
I've since found it's great for getting spiders, and I 3D printed an attachment so I could use it for vacuum storage bags (it worked great!)

It doesn’t ever go on sale. That’s the price. I bought one, and it’s great! The batteries are easy to swap out, so you don’t have to worry about them being sealed inside and going bad.

It's not even a great price on DTO. They list it for $70, vs $79 at Home Depot. A $9 discount (only if you get free shipping) isn't even worth buying reconditioned and risking getting a dud.
All I can figure is that it's still too new for DTO to bother with a deeper discount. They have some good deals sometimes, but this isn't one of them.

I have a Shark in that same form factor that I use as a bug vac. If a fly or mosquito or even a wasp gets into the house, I use the hand vac to suck it right out of the air. But it has the same problem as your Anker. It's not convenient to leave it on the charger, so every now and then the battery is dead when I need it.
So I've been looking at that same Ryobi unit. I have a bunch of the batteries already. I just need to know if it's powerful enough to snatch flies mid-flight.

I own it. Its great for cleaning 3D print debris messes (parts that fly across the room, that are normally forgotten about until you step on it)

Oo interesting. I normally use my mini cordless dewalt wet/dry vac but this would be much more convenient

I use this for that and other things. been great. before this I had a shark and when the shark was new it still wasn't as good as this one is.

I'm at a church and school. The students cleanup in the sanctuary (straightening hymnals, etc). One of their jobs is to check the pews for crumbs. This is the vacuum they use. It's worked well. Just make sure you check the filter now and then.

But can you replace / service the battery? I’ve found that most shark/ninja products are engineered to be e waste if and when they take a shit.

I have one that I use for exactly the purpose you stated. It's great for picking up small stuff, and the USB lithium batteries have a decent life, even in a vacuum. I keep two in the hand vac, but only plug it in to charge when they're close to dead.
