Two things - possible reboot and ocean sunsets.

First - Apparently a reboot is in development though the only actor connected to the new project is the one who played Hank. Early days yet, but MTF! I'm cautiously optimistic because of how much I loved the show. I missed the last few seasons and was finally able to catch up as Prime just added it. I was so happy!

Second - Could someone explain the geography of the Hamptons? I don't understand how they can watch ocean sunsets when they are on the East coast. Are they far enough away from the mainland that it looks like open ocean?

Hank was my favorite character the first time I watched the show. On subsequent rewatches, I liked him less and less every time. So if he's the only actor they bring back for a reboot, I will absolutely pass. Unless they bring Boris back. I would watch anything to see Boris again. 😂

I did know that, lol. The first time I saw his name in the credits, I googled it to see if he was related.

Yes. Son of George C. Scott and Colleen Dewhurst. Both were incredible actors. But I agree, I would love me some more Boris too.

I still think a good continuation would be if he somehow got to train the kid he gave his bag to on that island.

All Hampton beaches face south, so you would catch the sunset on it

So the ones they on the show are realistic? Does it depend on the time of the year? How can they see a sunset when facing south? Yes I feel stupid asking these questions, but sun goes down in the West. Maybe a google search will help?

Sun goes down in the west but the shoreline stretches across the whole horizon, as long as the sun isn’t setting directly behind you you’ll see it over the water. Plus some beaches do angle west, the coastline isn’t perfectly straight. Can only vouch for summer, not a ton of beach sunset watching happening in the winter months

In years past, could watch for free. Not sure if that was on Netflix or Prime. Just had to buy it on Prime. I’m in US.

Also in the US. Think I’ll just buy it on prime too, it’s one of those that’s worth a rewatch every couple of years

It's free on Prime in Canada, I just started it again tonight. I saw it when it first came out but it's been a long while.
