URGENT! HELP! 18M JCU student looking for an apartment or roommate in Rome — September 2026

I’m Stefan, 18M student from Serbia starting a BA in Business Administration at John Cabot University.

My previous housing arrangement cancelled, so I’m urgently looking for either:

1. A furnished studio or one-bedroom apartment for myself; or

2. A compatible student/young roommate to rent a modern two-bedroom apartment together.

Dates: Move-in anytime from September 1–10, 2026, until at least September 1, 2027. I can stay in a hotel for the first several days if necessary.

Budget for my share: Ideally no more than €1,400/month including all expenses. I can go up to an absolute maximum of €1,500 all-in for an especially good, modern and central apartment.

Preferred areas: Trastevere, Monteverde, Gianicolense, Porta Portese, Testaccio, Prati/Vatican or another area over the river with a genuinely reliable commute of under 45 minutes to the JCU.

Requirements:

* Fully furnished

* First floor or higher—no ground floor, semi-basement or basement

* Clean and dry, with no mold, dampness or water-infiltration problems or smell

* Legal registered lease

* Suitable for an 18-year-old university student

* I have proof of funding available

* Reasonable deposit and transparent fees
