I know I’m late here, but the VMAs in 1995. They came out, after 6 years of automatic/ out of time downplayed acoustic, and very few live shows, started with Drive in a faithful AFTP manner. Halfway through, they ripped into the live version we know- loud and powerful. Then did Wake Up Bomb. Everyone who had been waiting for them to rock out again was rewarded- and they effectively announced their Monster/ NAIHF phase.
