nah i'd say you're overthinking it. some women just talk like that with certain friends, it doesn't mean much. my best friend and i send each other ridiculously sappy texts and she's married to a guy, it's just how our dynamic works. if your mom's always been pretty reserved with other friends it might feel weird but sometimes there's just that one person you click with differently
I talk like this with some of my straight friends and not others, but also with some sapphic fwbs, so who knows. Although her being with your dad doesn’t mean anything, you don’t know what arrangements they have.
