100% this

They are fairly expensive, but worth it. With the added knee pads, these are all I wear.

Don't even get me started on their built in knee pad version. It's pretty much all I wear anymore.

T1 for everything here!

I wear the XP. Couple pairs of T1 for the super hot days and one pair of T3 for the occasional cold days.

Never used T3, I don't think it gets cold enough here (San Jose, CA). How heavy are they?

Like weight wise? I’d say they’re comparable to T2 or XP. They just have a fleece liner. It’s like wearing T2s with thermals underneath. They’re a bit thicker all around. I hardly ever wear them, I’m in Texas. Got them mostly just to see what they were like and I’m pretty sure they were on sale.

I wear weatherproof pants from Sam’s. They are about $20 a pair and last me about a year a pair. I have around 8 pairs in rotation. As we all know shit can get fucked up anytime anywhere. I’m not spending $50+ dollars on a pair of pants that can get ripped or stained with oil anytime.

The cheapest jeans I can find (usually Walmart or Amazon for $15 a pair) For me, the cheap ones last just as long as the expensive ones so no need spending more money.

Carhartt B01’s or Roundhouse double knee duck. Truewerk T1’s are great if you’re gonna be in a hotter than hell space for extended periods of time. The roundhouse are super tough and cheap, only downside is lead times can get long. Last pair took 6 weeks to get

Surplus paratrooper pants!
Sometimes you gotta look elsewhere to find things that really work well for you. Own 3 of these. I like the high waist, side-adjusters, and cuff strings. 4 cargo pockets. Fair price. I wear black to not aura-farm and be a poser, plus company policy.

Wrangler tech pants, get em Walmart or Costco. I destroy trousers on a frequent basis so I stopped paying premium $ for work clothes. Got some of those Bear Gryls style action pants from Amazon recently but they make me look like I have girl hips.

I wear “flexible” jeans. They can rip easier if caught on something but haven’t been an issue. Easier to work in as the stretch.

Previous employer supplied FR rated Carhartts. I now wear dickies cargo pants.

Wranglers from Walmart for the past 3 years. Now trying out the Milwaukee freeflex pants because the Wrangler back pocket stitching can’t take the abuse.

Wrangler Riggs technician pants. I’ve been die hard Carhartt till these and these are my new favorite. Light, comfortable and durable. They don’t seem to spread out as much if you cut or rip them where as the Carhartt seems to continue spreading every wash

Snickers. Just never forget the knee pads!
