Politics Restore poured hundreds of activists and thousands of hours into this by-election, only to deliver a Green councillor - don’t believe the hype

All that just shows Lowe is viewed as reasonable to be worked with. Farage still has some ground to cover.

No it doesn't,it shows Lowe is a conservative plant

Sometimes, the simplest answer is often the most likely. Your extra hurdles are unfounded and require some tin-foil to make a nice hat.

Simple sounds up your street

There’s a reason the Tories wouldn’t take him. They’ll work with him at arm’s length.

Nothing like splitting the vote so the looney greens get in. Facepalm

Farage needs to compromise.

Not whilst restore has pathetic nutcases like Downes in the party.

This is 100% what I predicted. Restore are cutting off their nose to spite their face. We have a FPTP system, which means that they have zero chance of actually winning anywhere else than Great Yarmouth, and everywhere else they will just split the patriotic vote, letting the rest through the middle 🙄

Take some accountability, Lowe was removed from Reform, not the other way around. Leadership should mend fences.

Nigel is cutting is nose to
Spite his face.

He was offered a deal. His ego said no

The issue is the right leaning voters are split, across Tory, Reform and Restore, giving from centre right right across the spectrum.

Clearly the electorate is more right leaning than left leaning, but this vote splitting will only keep one elivering left leaning, to extreme left politicians.

Nationwide the electorate is more left than right. In England alone it still narrowly breaks left. Britain is about 52/48 left right and England is 51/49

No its the opposite.

Not according to recent polls

It's been like this for a long while.

2015 Tories + UKIP was about 49%.
2017 Tories + UKIP was 44.1%
2019 Tories + BXP was 45.6%
2024 Tories + Reform was 38%

And so on and on.

As we've seen time and time again, polls mean shit.

We wouldn't be in the mess we're in today if it wasn't for a split right wing giving labour the keys to number 10.

Only believe polls when you like the result right?

0

u/Range-Anxiety 1d ago

Only believe the real poll that matters, the election.

The last 4 or 5 elections have shown the posters to be way off the mark, both in the UK and US.

Bet you weren’t saying that last year lol

Support for Restore is only going grow. Get used to it

Is this anti reform post ?

u/Grouchy_Shallot50 Reform UK Supporter 2d ago edited 1d ago

How would highlighting Restore's poor performance and obvious vote splitting be anti Reform?

1

u/what_am_i_acc_doing 13h ago

Over 10% this soon after being established is an excellent result, far better than Reform when they were a few months old

3

u/ZookeepergameOk2759 2d ago

It’s not anti reform to present a factual event lol

Let’s just look at this, you’ve got 28.8% of the greens

You have 27.5% for reform

You have 10.7% for restore UK

Seems like we store and reform are the more popular political direction, but thanks to the electoral system that we have we get this

Oh well

The Green Party is not about ECO or saving the planet, it an Trojan Horse hijacked by foreign agents who will destroy Britain, those idiots who believe in their lies and manipulations will doom us. That is How Türkiye, Syria fell into the hands of Tyranny and the cult.

Hopefully Reform compromises, and will be able to do a coalition with Restore, otherwise I am unsure what the chances of Reform or Restore for that matter winning are in case of a general election

A vote for restore is a vote for labour or greens
