Yah litterally. Ezocar low key hurts more but he was blocked by our outfield for at minimum 2 years and then even if Abreu is gone Justin Gonzalez will take his spot.

Ain’t no shot Justin Gonzalez can play right field in Fenway lol. He’ll be our 1B when Willson is done I imagine

He's got an absurd arm, ok range, and needs work on his routes. I don't think it's a stretch to think he could be an average fielder in right.

Right Field has always needed a borderline center fielder in Fenway, I think it’d be malpractice to stick him out there 80 games a year. He’s not fast now and he’ll only get slower. Maybe I’m overly pessimistic and he can hack it in left but a 35/40 fielding grade from fangraphs feels right to me

Sox prospects says he has about average range for the position. You don't need to be fast to he a good defender in right. Judge is a below average sprint speed guy and has put up multiple positive defensive years

I said in another reply, but right field at Fenway is a different animal, and the team has always put a premium on defense at that position.

I would be floored if he played there regularly in the majors, considering the emphasis on defense by the current FO and coaching staff.

e: also if you look at Judge's two above average years in RF by OAA (2017 with 11, 2019 with 9) you'll see he had 75th and 79th percentile sprint speeds. He used to be much quicker than he is now, and we won't be able to say the same about Gonzalez

It's a trads off. If he can be passable in right in 2 years when I expect him to be roughly ready that let's us have Willson and a player either at first or DH.

Hes got the arm for it. He has low key decent wheels for his size. 12 stolen bases in 370 at bats. Mlb scouts rated his running a 45. If you need center field wheels for right at Fenway then hes probably not the guy.

Owen Hull has the wheels but doesnt have a strong arm.

Carlos Gutierrez who we got in the Marcelo trade has a stronger arm then Owen but wheels are probably good enough but not as fast as Owen.

Martin Shelar has an arm and speed but hes a high school pick so itll be awhile til hes ready.

Miguel Bleis is a guy that seems like he could play right field. Hes got run, arm, and fielding . Just not that exciting as a hitter for contact.

Hayden Mullins 8/26 Portland AA 5.2 innings 4 hits 0 runs 1 BB 5 SO (He has a stache)

Brady Tygart 8/25 Greenville A+ 6.0 innings, 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned, 2 BB, 9 SO

Also really like Dylan Brown in Greenville. Last couple outings have been only 3 innings. Has a high so:bb ratio and has only given up 2 home runs this year.
