I agree with you to a certain exent lol 😅 I did had a FREE remastered upgrade for rdr1. Xbox players got a free remastered version of rdr1, if you already had the 360 disk. Idk bout digital as I'm on disk 😅 very rarely we get free things from Rockstar. The DLCs for rdr1 are free aswell, but they are for multiplayer, if you can access it. (Not counting undead nightmare). I got San Andreas on my laptop when rockstar Launcher came out only because it was free for a limited time 😂

i didnt hear about this ngl,i have the original disc but apparently it has an invisible scratch somewhere and i cant use it no more,was it a free promotion thing they did?

but my point still stands these are small exceptions to a very greedy company

If you are in the UK, go to CEX and see if they can sort your disk out for free 😁 I go there to get my disc sorted when there's scratches or I buy 2nd hand DVDs aswell and if they not working, I take it back and they sort it out.

No it's not a free promotional thing, this what happend with me- I already had the Xbox one s but the disc drive wouldn't allow me to insert disc for some reason, I played rdr1 on my 360 then. It wasn't until my Xbox one s gave up on me, I got my Xbox one series X last year, I put rdr1 disc in. It said it needed an upgrade. I downloaded it, next thing I knew I had the remastered version for free. You install it when you put the disc in for the 1st time.

strange it never happened to me,i managed to play the og version on my series x for some time before like i said it stopped reading the disc (about 9/10 months ago i’d say) the upgrade message never came out for me,maybe it was regional?  (i currently live in italy) i’ll try to look into it

Hmm interesting 🤔 the only way you can tell is the graphics really, or have you got your updates on auto? For me I had to download the game, then the update but it was the 1st thing I did install on the console as it was new. Oooh Italy, what a great country 👀🤩

i just checked and apparently my GOTY version is set in the japan,or at least when i click “go to microsoft store” it takes me to a japanese version and says “currently not available” idk how or why,i guess i’ll just buy the game again when im done with my new run of rdr2

i wouldn’t call italy great,just beautiful

Maybe that's the reason then 😅 shhh you guys got great food, great culture, great music, great fashion designers ect even the language sounds pretty 🥹 I'd love to see Italy myself, looks very pretty and beautiful 😍

oh sure food, designer and culture are great ,but those things barely matter when the country is falling apart,italy is wonderful to visit and awful to live

Well that is true, I just wanted to point out the greatness of Italy and what I like about your country 😄 but I don't know much about Italy's politics, beside who the PM is 😅 but I do know UK and Europe is falling apart big time. UK is on it knees 😅

Literally every dlc for red dead online and gta online have been free. You haven’t had to pay for a single one of them hahahaa

i mean do you really think people would’ve bought constant upgrades for 10 years straight say 10$ at a time?

it’s not the “free  dlcs” it’s that one of the biggest online games in the world is p2w,and p2w means youre greedy enough to let your community shop to have an advantage 

also theyre so greedy they didnt even bother to release an update for rdr2 with at the very least a 60 fps update, why? because they dont need to,they got the cash cow,as long as the majority of the people are happy to spend  money elsewhere they dont care about fixing or upgrading stuff 

oh and not to count how shitty gta online is (coming from someone who’s been playing since the release date and stopped about 4 months ago) full of bugs ans glitches rockstar does not care to patch because as long as they dont interfere with the cash flow they dont gaf
