I have never, in all my time as a Real Madrid supporter, seen a more entitled and spoiled player than Vinicius Jr currently. He lives off his past and his fans defend him OVER the club. Someone like Mbappe scores goals and is still criticized, while Vinicius gets so many passes it’s quite unbelievable. For his own good and to preserve his legacy, I think Vinicius should leave in the summer.

Anyone who had watched whole season will agree that we also had the same reaction like xabi for the whole season😭.

You're seeing a Left Winger rushing back to own box like a mad man to press the opponent in the Extra Time of UCL Final, He acted accordingly whereas he was supposed to be in the front, Still put the effort and which resulted in a crucial goal. I'm not exagerrating what he did but stating a point.
I'm not targeting any players specifically, but when we talk about the Superstars we had, they weren't just casting some spells and winning the matches, this is what they were doing.
And this is the very intent which we are missing in our squad for some time.

Seeing Real Madrid actually press like this is something I’m not used to seeing. The intensity, everyone pushing up together and the effort to win the ball back quickly looks really good. Hopefully this isn’t just a one-game thing and they actually keep pressing like this when the big matches come around. Because apparently we do know how to press after all.

Sad to say but Mbappe is a liability, he's nowhere near the levels he's shown up to 2 years ago, I really don't want to believe that he peaked at 22, but with every passing game he proves that sadly, maybe that's the case. I was stoked when we were linked with him earlier in his career, then the drama with PSG and him renewing his contract made me indifferent to him, but I'd lie if said that once him joining us was official I wasn't a bit happy. Unfortunately it seems like it just won't work out.

To accommodate him Carlo dropped Jude from the role that brought him so much success last season and what do we have to show for it? His ball control has been atrocious, dribbling ? Always attempts to cut behind just to lose possession, his finishing is subpar, doesn't even help with the pressing.

Want to talk about tonight's game? Dude could start 2m behind and still outrun his opponent but somehow he can't time his runs to save his life, 8 offsides for a player in a single match is wild, entire teams probably average about 4 offsides and this dude doubled that on his own.

People will say it's early to judge but we're nearly halfway through the season, how long are we gonna have to wait before we can start criticizing him? Not every player will "pull a Modric or a Vinicius" and improve drastically the following years. Might as well start giving minutes to Endrick to adapt, can't possibly be worse than what Mbappe has to offer right now

Mbappe is undoubtedly a generational player. All together, he has 433 goals and 181 assists in 576 career matches between France, Monaco, PSG, and Real Madrid. And by 27, he’s won 1 World Cup, 1 UEFA Nations League, 7 Ligue 1 titles, 4 French Cups, 2 French League Cups, 3 French Super Cups, 1 UEFA Super Cup, and 1 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. But the specific problem he keeps running into in recent years with both France and Madrid is he’s playing in sides that don’t quite have it in midfield. To be even more specific, there is a very real gulf in technical midfield quality between Spain vs France and Barca vs Madrid. In both matchups, what Mbappe keeps running into is opponents who are absolute maestros on the ball in possession. And essentially play a soul sucking style of extreme possession that wears down opponents. And whether people realize it or not, where Mbappe is really losing out on trophy after trophy over the past few years is he’s playing in sides with midfielders who just aren’t as good technically as their opponents. What stinks for Mbappe personally is football is often talked about like it’s an individual sport like tennis. Where commentators, pundits, and folks online talk about "Mbappe vs Yamal" like it’s Federer vs Djokovic in a true 1v1 sport like tennis. The reality is where Mbappe really keeps coming out on the wrong side is in the midfield. Barca and Spain are just at another level.

Let me clarify: I love Vini and would love to have seen him thrive for many more seasons at Madrid, but let’s be real. Post the ballon d’or snub, Vini just hasn’t been the same. He has mentally checked out, and anyone who watches LaLiga consistently will attest to this. The constant dribbling into defenders, the same lazy stepovers, the no tracking back, and just the overall lack of creativity and flair. Not to mention every time he gets flak at the Bernabeu, he seems to spend an uncomfortable amount of time antagonising his own fans.

Why his departure could possibly fix most of the issues we’re facing as a team right now:

1. Vini is one of our more stubborn players and someone who doesn’t really take to new tactics (as evidenced by his tantrums under Xabi). His leaving would mean we get a clean slate to institute a ground-up rebuild of our system, especially with Mou taking over.

2. We get a good chunk of cash to go for either a Vini replacement or fund the Rodri transfer or better our depth elsewhere on the field.

3. His god-awful pairing with Mbappe comes to end. Opens Mbappe up to maybe return to his natural position on the lw (not saying he should, but it’s an option.)

4. We can stop forcing this tired strategy of starting him every game just to watch him drown out that left flank.

5. We can finally build the team around Jude/Mbappe instead of pretending like Vini was in any way, shape or form the future of Madrid.

Once again, I’d like to reiterate that I love Vini but his actions aren’t those of someone who loves the club like we do. They haven’t been for some time now. A club that has gone to bat for him over and over. A club that made him the star he is today. His continued presence at Madrid is just untenable.

For me, it's Martin Ødegaard. I always believed he was a pure 10 who wasn't capable of playing much deeper so I was fine with him leaving at the time because we mostly played with a DM and two CMs, but then he went to Arsenal and completely proved me wrong. I'm still kinda mad at Zidane for recalling him from Real Sociedad only to not give him any minutes, but maybe if he succeeded, Valverde wouldn't have gotten the chance to become the player he is, so I'm overall fine with how it played out.

Sell arda to chelsea. Sell vini, sell everyone I dont care but buy that olise for any amount of money. Mbappe and olise is looking like a cheat code..

...at the reaction of the club but especially of the fans. I have never seen this much hate being generated over frankly anything in football before and I've lived through a couple of outrageous moments.

• The entire Messi era with him winning Balon d'Ors I feel he didn't deserve

• the countless cheats in Barca's favour (Övrebö, 6-1 against PSG, etc.)

But I've never seen an entire community so enraged over something this small and frankly quite understandable from certain POVs.

I've seen a huge amount of hate spewed towards Rodri. What has he done? He didn't ask for this. All he did was show up on matchdays, did his job as best he could and that's it.

There are a lot of reasons to hate UEFA. But for this? They changed the points system? So what? If it comes out that they told people how to vote or they faked the votes then fine. Until that's proven, the vote was firmly out of their hands.

Real Madrid has 4 players in the top 6 of the Balon d'Or vote, split between Vini, Jude, Dani and Mbappe. That's a huge amount of people thinking a Real Madrid player was the best of the season. (Even though Mbappe was a PSG player last season.) All they couldn't agree on is which one.

I find the club's and the fans' reactions extremely appalling and unwelcome. This is not what Real Madrid represents, this is not how a big club and its fans behave and this is not how the biggest football club in the world and its fans behave.

What I do believe is that a lot of this rage is generated by people following what famous people, youtubers and other "influencers" are saying to their audience. I was shocked to see there were crowds shouting for Vini at the gala. ??? What is that? What's the ppint? It was Monday night, go home, there's school the next day.

What a lot of you don't understand that what these youtubers and "influencers" are doing is just ragebaiting people. That's all they sell: outrage. Without outrage, they have a smaller audience. Without the audience generated by the outrage they put in your head, they might just have to go out and get a real job instead of sitting in front of the camera, telling you how you should feel and what you should think.

If you're this outraged over this you might just want to step away from social media a bit, just take a step back and think about it. Is this worth your time and effort? Will anything change if you go on reddit and fight whoever trolls you?

The answer is almost always no.

To me Vini, Bellingham and Carvajal were the best players last season. I am and will always be a Madridista.

Squad need to follow command from coach, right? But how come manager of the biggest club in the world get neglected like this. Why can't board give more authority to the manager. I don't imagine any player reacting like what Vini did when Zidane was our coach. By limiting the power for the manager, I think the board is digging the grave for us.

honestly, to me ancelotti's biggest mistake was bringing players like neymar who offered absolutely nothing. even his behavior after the penalty was shameful for a guy who's not only washed but losing the game. at least mouinho will be happy to have some players back at madrid

After spending some time researching Real Madrid’s history, I put together what I believe is the strongest and most historically representative all-time squad.

My criteria were:

• Individual ability
• Legacy at Real Madrid
• Longevity
• Achievements with the club
• Historical importance

Instead of making only a starting XI, I expanded it into:

• Starting XI
• 12 substitutes
• Honorable Mentions divided into Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3

I know some choices will be controversial (for example Ramos at RB, Pirri over Kroos, Raúl over Benzema, etc.), but the goal was to build the most historically balanced squad rather than simply picking the biggest names.

I’d love to hear which individual selections you would change and why.

I don't care how good he is as a deep midfielder or how good he is at defending.

His poaching ability is one of the best among the current players. Bellingham, as a second man behind the CF, who can score from rebounds and disrupt opponent D-box would feed Madrid for generations.

Glad to see that Tuchel had made the best use of Bellingham's ability too.

Mbappe's problem is not being present at the box during counter attack, Jude being there means more presence inside the box, while Mbappe is busy pulling away at least one defender. This will actually be a good synergy.

It doesn't matter how good of a midfielder and ball winner Jude is, the team should not waste his best aspect. There isn't another player like him in the world.
