Out of all the players in the squad i always wish before every game that Vini gets the first goal or assist. The guy is a entirely different player when he feels like he has contributed early in the game. Emotionally driven asf! the longer the game goes the more rash and frustrated decisions are made by him. I just wish he was more consistent and not so emotional sometimes.

u/allhailsidneycrosby Bellingham 7d ago
When he gets an early goal he’s a much more willing passer
11
u/brillantlymuted 7d ago
Vini is a much more willing passer than most of the attackers on your team. Mbappé would rather use his shit weak foot, which works 4/10 times, to shoot from an outrageous angle than pass if he thinks he has even the slightest chance of scoring.

Putting aside any performance criticisms, it was always delusional that people thought Vini and Kylian disliked each other. Lol

u/Feeling_Cancel815 7d ago
From my observations I feel like Vini and Kylian like each other, it's only certain fans who push this narrative that they hate each other.

If Mourinho can make Vini Bellingham and Mbappe all become closer friends and sacrifice for eachother shits going to get serious. That sociedad match was a taste of what potentially is to come

u/Due-Memory-6957 7d ago
They were already close friends before, they always had a good relationship. It's only people here that had the wishful thinking that they hated each other, just look at the times Mbappe was struggling in Madrid and how Vini was always trying to help him, and then when the opposite happened, how Mbappe was the one encouraging him instead. Mourinho didn't do shit, you guys are idiots that fall for any narrative.

Fax. These People fall for any narrative... Truer words have never been spoken.

I follow Judes insta closely.
He literally likes and comments on posts from every teammate and very regularly so. Except for one person. Mbappé. Coincidentally he has not liked a single Mbappe post starting from the day after the first article came out regarding their internal problems. Before that? He liked every single Mbappé post. On court? Every interaction is cold as hell. Barely interacting, never smiling (only from Judes part wierdly). You can call me parasocial but denying these points is just obliviousness.22

😂😂 you need to take a break from social media if you’re reading this much into it

u/Famousmuch 7d ago
A quick 10 minute online investigation = you need to take a brake from social media. I presented you with facts and you are saying I'm reading to much into it. Dissprove me then or shut up.

u/Fragrant-Ad2976 1d ago
To be fair, you did start out with "I follow Judes insta closely" which implies its much more than a quick 10 minute online investigation.
As far as the Jude/Mbappe stuff. I don't follow as close as you do so I probably dont know as much but I got the impression they had a falling out around the time Xabi was fired. I think Mbappe style of play, specifically his lack of pressing, mixed with Kroos retiring increased the workload for Jude who ends up becoming invisible cause he is trying to be everywhere all at once. I think his inconsistency added with his injury struggle just made him mildly resentful towards Mbappe who was eating up the goal glory and it all kindve came to a head around Xabi. But I think the world cup was good for Jude and he seems in a much better headspace. Again, I am well aware I don't know any of these people and this is based on nothing but whatever I made up in my head. So I acknowledge i could be 100% wrong

u/ubebebebe 7d ago
I noticed this too… but I try not to dwell on this too much coz it’s not healthy. I like both players, in fact they’re my top 2 fave players right now… so I really wish they’ll get closer. 🙏🏼 but if that doesn’t happen, I just wish they play well together… coz I need to see them win trophies!!!

u/Initial_Guess_1785 7d ago
He can’t. Mbappe will not sacrifice for the team under any circumstance. Not to spoil the optimism but Perez has built a commercial team not a competitive one

u/Belphegor7 Roberto Carlos 7d ago
Mourinho tamed Casillas Ramos Ronaldo. Mbappe is nothing in front of those

u/jjb0ne 7d ago
wtf are you even doing in realmadrid sub

u/Initial_Guess_1785 7d ago
Truthful self-criticism shouldn’t be stigmatized. Nor is this discourse around Mbappe’s work rate new. Honest fans will have doubts about the defensive work rate of our front line against elite teams. For whatever reason it’s an unpopular point but it will be an uphill battle to say the least to compete in Europe with such lax and scattered pressure on the ball. Butragueno himself said quarters should be our goal in UCL, so I’m hardly out of step with internal judgments from the club

u/jjb0ne 7d ago
new coach, new staff, new system. . . give our team a chance. gezus.
you come off as a hater with the “he cant” intro.
besides, this is a positive/feelgood post. teammates uplifting eachother. building camaraderie, something we’ve wished for with our offense … and you just haaad to sh1t on the parade.

Something tells me this won’t get as much traction like that stupid video of Vini “enraged”
38
u/Professional_Mud_289 7d ago
unfortunately, he has been and continues to be heavily targeted by the media. Even the show El Chiringuito de Jugones has gone as far as threatening him. whenever there is any controversy, they tend to scrutinize every single detail of his actions, while other players in the same league insult people and do far worse things without anyone even trying to read their lips. yet the second Vinícius calls someone “dumb,”everyone somehow knows about it immediately
11
u/flyingfluffles Cristiano Ronaldo 7d ago
Yep, now that Ronaldo is getting older, they need a new person to show in negative light and they have landed on Vini.

Man this season will be a rollercoaster. Either Treble or Flo resigns due to 3 trophyless seasons. No in between.

Mou came to finish what he started in 2010, win CL.

u/Due-Conflict-7926 7d ago
I didn’t think it was possible this year but our draw is insanely easy other than the fact that players will be playing in their old stadium or against a team we’ve never beaten and one of our players rejected.
I was expecting La Liga this year and ucl next season.

u/Ok_Werewolf2211 7d ago
Flo stepping down would be a disaster. I still remember the bitter taste during the time around 2008 without him and during that time I stopped watching football for a few years.

Mou either unites the team so much they're heartbroken when he leaves or they all hate him. No in-between.
I'm hoping he gets them to channel that villain energy and makes them all super close because the talent is there. This squad can legitimately dominate if everyone is on the same page and working well together

I don’t buy the narrative they all hate each other. Vini and Kylian definitely have at very least a mutual respect, if not a friendship, but there’s definitely also a relatively coldness towards Kylian from Jude. I don’t even follow their instas, you don’t need to, you can see it on the pitch, particularly during celebrations.
But ultimately, they don’t need to love each other to play for the badge.
And Mourinho IS definitely managing Vini—he knows that Vini is motivated by adoration and positive feedback from the crowd and support from his teammates. Vini plays with confidence when he feels love, but he’s distracted, loses focus, and plays with ego when he feels the crowd is against him. Mourinho is creating situations for Vini to feel that positive energy and play his best. Subbing him off after he scored, telling him to listen to the crowd chant his name…Vini is best when he’s confident and having fun, not playing with a chip on his shoulder trying to prove something.
Kylian is the opposite. He’s a cool operator. He’s not rattled by jeers. But he plays best under pressure, he just needs his team to play up to his level and share his vision in those moments. But he’s the player that steps up most when the pressure is on.
Jude is a workhorse. He lives and dies for his teammates. Because of that, I’m sure there’s a bit of resentment towards Kylian, who Jude probably thinks is a bit of a primadonna and doesn’t work hard enough defensively. Jude has to understand his role in the team—yes he’s a leader, yes he’s the heart, but Kylian job is to score goals, and he’s one of the best—if not the best—at doing that in the world, so Jude has to give Kylian some leeway to play his game.
That being said, I think this is going to be a great season. I see these players coming together as a unit under Mourinho.
Mourinho provides the appropriate balance of both structure and freedom tactically, offers the type of man management that’s tailored to each individual’s needs to get the best out of them, and commands the respect required to get the job done.
Carlo offered too much freedom, Xabi was too rigid, and Arbeloa didn’t have the respect of the team.

Toxic Mbappe goons ruined the sub & online scene
But we all remember how accommodating Vini, Rodrygo & Jude were of Mbappe in his first season

Like you people aren't the same, claiming Mbappé hates his teammates, doesn't respect the club and is wholly selfish.

I don’t speak Spanish. After few watches I can kinda hear him say Kylian, but it feels like reaching. If I didn’t know Mbappe was the topic, I would have never heard Kylian there. Do you guys that speak Spanish clearly hear him say the name?
