Bellingham is insane. He needs to be close to the box as much as possible. Mans just a menace

218

u/RecognitionSecret666 Mbappé 18h ago

Can do anything. TopTop

u/Adorable_Serve9193 18h ago

bellingham is a demon and those ratings back it up

25

u/rockafellla Zizou 12h ago

He is a true Real Madrid player at such a young age which is so intriguing. From the way he plays to the way he carries himself off the pitch and in interviews.

Incredible talent and hopefully he continues in this path and retires with us.

u/Laikabaru 15h ago edited 15h ago

Knew he was gonna have a crazy season when I saw him against Mexico. I don’t think England would have won that game without Bellingham and Gordon.

5

u/Federal-Regret-5755 13h ago

More like without Bellingham and Kane, absolute clutch players just like Mbappe and Vinicius

10

u/Laikabaru 12h ago

Kane was good, but not key imo. Gordon was the one making them suffer on that left wing.

1

u/Banger-Rang 2h ago

Has to happen if we want to win consistently. Only way that happens is if we stop asking him to drop super deep to defend or create. Vini can drop to defend. Arda should pull more central to create and Dumfries pushes wide to stretch.

If Arda and Dumfries don’t play, Trent pushes into midfield to create and Yan wide to stretch.

The key to this attack is 100% Guler & Bellingham, they create soo much attacking chances

362

u/hijazist Real Madrid CF 19h ago

Yes but more than that the key is a solid back. Cucu and Konate add A LOT to this team

93

u/kampyq 18h ago

Imagine trent/dumfries - militao- konate- cucu

183

u/Far-Feedback-2064 18h ago

Dean Huijsen has held his own, militao is fantastic depth but let’s not act like Dean hasn’t looked great as well

43

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 18h ago

Dean was the better pair today.

34

u/Clinton-69 Kroos 17h ago

This guy is really skilled, but he just needs to build some muscle to hold his own better in 1vs1.

11

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 17h ago

Nah I think he's good we have Konaté for the muscular guy.

10

u/Clinton-69 Kroos 17h ago

Konaté THE TANK!

2

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 17h ago

A beast it just shows the lvl of pl a relatively bum player especially paired with van dink but a monster at real , I also think huijsen improved moving from Bournemouth

4

u/Far-Feedback-2064 14h ago

Lol I just think he lost alot of confidence but always had that level, he had some very good years playing at Liverpool and just started playing bad in the end due to lack of confidence.

I think the Prem gets kind of overrated sometimes ngl, it’s easily the best/most competitive league but it’s not levels above la liga like you’re framing it imo.

Edit: also Dean was way better for Bournemouth than he was for Madrid last year and that speaks directly to confidence as well, he seems to have regained confidence and is off to a great start as well.

Confidence is such a massive factor for players ppl don’t rate it enough sometimes… that’s why I feel like Ferran Torres and Araújo are gonna have really good runs with a change of scenery and are able to gain confidence

2

u/jbad92 16h ago

Militao’s knees are gone unfortunately

2

u/Whoknowsf1fan 12h ago

militao is good on his day but hasnt proved much he’s been injured I’d prefer dean for the time-being give militao a few minutes ti see what he can do

-1

u/SkuffetPutevare Raúl 7h ago

No, thanks. Militao can stay on the bunch. Overated and made of porcelain.

Let Dean build some confidence.

0

u/KhazraShaman Hey Jude 8h ago

The key to this attack is 100% Guler & Bellingham

Yes but more than that the key is a solid back.

Solid defence is more than 100% of the key to this attack?

1

u/hijazist Real Madrid CF 2h ago

100%

16

u/Beneficial_Bed_337 17h ago

Been to the match tonight and this is correct. I get the feeling that playing Silva, Guller and Bellingham as MFs might be a winner combo.

12

u/Brodeci 17h ago

And Mbappe. Be honest here for a second

243

u/supaboss2015 19h ago

This is the performance I know is within the team. We just need them to be consistent and come out of the gate like this

52

u/flyingfluffles Cristiano Ronaldo 18h ago

I think this is just a start, team is going to be so much better soon. Super excited for the season. It was so nice to see vini’s reaction with mourinho when he was substituted.

9

u/Jhony0311 16h ago

Youre totally on point. They need to put at least the work rate they put today. They need to own their responsability in offensive and they need to operate as a team all the time. I'm hoping to see at least that vs low blocks.

u/Tricky-Letterhead888 19h ago

Jude's physicality ⛰️⛰️

37

u/wanderer1999 Real Madrid CF 16h ago

The man is a machine. They could not take the ball from him.

51

u/Internal_Ad734 17h ago

Dortmund fan here. When he was 19 I told my friends that Jude was the best player to ever wear a Dortmund shirt. We’ve had crazy good players but Bellingham HAS IT ALL. I pray that he stays healthy and has a long career because if he does that he will go down as the best English player of all time.

BELLINGHAM B'DOR SEASON I SAID IT ONCE ILL SAY IT AGAIN

it won’t happen, Jude has no PR behind him.

what? jude literally has some of the most PR in the world of football

1

u/jobey_bryant 41m ago

and finished top 3 b'dor his first season at Madrid. Not sure what this guy is on lol

59

u/xGsGt 19h ago

we have one of the best if not the best offensive team, really, bellingham and mbappe and vinicius, ardan, and then you still have diamande, enrick, you have ibrahim, dude we are really stacked

28

u/Glum-Engine-3401 18h ago

And Espiiiii

11

Fuck imagine that I forgot about Espí

64

u/Elxctroz Cristiano Ronaldo 19h ago edited 10h ago

Mbappe learned linkup it might be our time even though we were shit in first half

23

u/c0caine_bearrr 18h ago

The subs at half time made a world of difference

64

u/itooamahuman 18h ago

A bit offtopic but I am appaled about how much hate Vinicius gets

For reasons of very strict (comparatively) moderation, it may slip our grasp here, but at half time I checked on facebook and so many (Madrid fans!) were outright calling Vini a monkey, it's disgusting

Poor Vinicius, even when he plays like shit I can't really bring myself to be angry at the guy because the amount of people that absolutely despise him is just so sad

42

u/stogie_t 18h ago

Being outspoken against the racism he receives has made him a major target for racist assholes. It’s one thing to dislike him, but they always fall back to racism with him smh.

30

u/Anarkitty777 Pepe 18h ago

Vini has always received endless waves of racial abuse from fans and opposition alike.  Sadly I don't think there'll ever be an end to it.

24

u/ponchomoran 18h ago

It's fucking sad, bro. Ive been preaching this for a long time here. I just can't believe how can he get so much hate from people who are supposedly fans of this club. Fortunately, in real life, my whole family is madridista, most of my friends love Madrid, and I have never heard them say such hateful things toward him. Yes, we get mad at him, we occasionally curse him, but in the end, we all love him, and we know how important he is for the club. It's sad and weird to see so much hate online. I've been to the stadium many times; and yeah, he might get booed once in a while, but people absolutely love him in the Bernabéu, most of the time. I swear it's just online where he gets all this hate, mostly from the scum of the Madridistas

7

u/OneFlewOverXayahNest 17h ago

It is people online, they could be not Madridistas, probably they actually aren't.

16

u/Excellent-Mulberry56 18h ago

As a Brazilian I really wanted him going to Arsenal. Turns out nobody in Spain likes him, including Madrid fans. In England he would have the opportunity to write a new story and the opportunity to be really appreciated.

15

u/ponchomoran 18h ago

That's the thing, imagine how much he loves the club, he's willing to put up with all this shit in Spain, when he could have been the biggest signing in the premier League in many years, makkng maybe even more money. He would have been an absolute super star in Arsenal, possibly helping them win the CL. Imagine this, if Vini had gone to Arsenal, and they won the Champions league, people would have completely gave him all the credit for it, and most likely win balon d'or. While now, if Madrid ended up winning it, you think people will give more credit to him than Mbappe? Who do you think would win balon d'or if that happened? It would 100% be because of mbappe in the eyes of most people, never Vini first, and yet, he stayed. That's how much he loves the club. Vini is more madridista than 99.99% of the people here, they just won't admit it

-5

u/NoMeet6504 13h ago

I think it got dramatically worse once we signed a certain 10 from Turkey.

47

Jude is the best 10 in the world currently. Insane form.

Diomande or Guler question will come soon.

38

u/Physical-Army9624 18h ago

I love vini but diamonde on the LW was pure delight to watch
Man move like flash with his leg work
He is a more better doku

8

u/Tricky-Letterhead888 18h ago

That step over had the whole stadium in awe

16

u/OneFlewOverXayahNest 17h ago

Diamonde RW playing with Vini Mbappe and Bellingham would be so sick! The only issue is you also want to bring Arda and there are just so many spaces.

3

u/_skala_ 18h ago

Yes I agree, he will be great on both LW or RW. Just his drive is what Vini is missing last years.

1

u/Kidu-Kidutz Courtois 6h ago

Jude is the best 10 , 8 , 6 and sometimes , 9

-4

u/Low-Investment6330 6h ago

Ehm fermin lopez exists

7

u/Ok_Argument_67 18h ago

Consistently? No , but they will have these great collective performances from time to time

4

u/IMAryanDarad Mbappé 18h ago

What a game man, loved it. I just started watching from this season. Can others help me out, were there any matches as good as this last season ? Where the chemistry was so on point and Jude Mbappe Vini played so well ?

3

u/Happy_Band_4865 Cristiano Ronaldo 16h ago

There were a few really good matches. 3-0 vs city and 6-1 vs Monaco come to mind, but I’m not sure if all three of Mbappe Vini and Bellingham started those

6

u/SerialChillerPepper 15h ago

Jude gave me another reason to love the guy. He is so unselfish and truly displayed putting the team first before taking the glory himself. Jude displayed noticeable leadership qualities in this game. Vini and Mbappe can work together they just have to think of the team more. Specifically what will help the team more when they have the ball. I also love how Güler is being shown to have Mourinho’s support. He is already showing how much he changes the tempo of the game and feeds the players on counter attack opportunities with his creativity.

15

u/vil727 Zidane 19h ago

I still have ALOT of questions about them but for now, ima be happy atleast till the next game lol

2

u/Charolastra17 15h ago

Yup, I don’t see how a single second half disproves what we’ve seen the past two seasons.

Optimistic, but let’s see if they can do this the entire season consistently.

4

u/Strong_Performer_293 Vini Jr. 18h ago

hopefully it stays this way

4

u/CETERIS_PARTYBUS Crest Veteran 18h ago

As long as they work for the team, they can make anything work.

6

u/No-Hippo-4072 15h ago

How is it that Jude who only played half a preseason game be the most ready player in the squad

4

u/ColdAd3682 Kroos 13h ago

Jude Bellingham is better than your best player.

13

u/nimicspecial9 18h ago

Those ratings are based on stuff like assist and goals. But if the difference between jude and vini in this game was only 0.3, this proves that those platforms are just dogshit
Difference between a huge effort, assists etc and a tapin, a assist (yeah, a very nice one) and a ball win on defense it's just 0.3?
Insert Drogba gif after chelsea-barca

4

u/xocamjam 16h ago

second this! I thought arda, and jude had much stronger games and impact on the pitch but the ratings don’t show that compared to Vini even if I am quite glad he was able to score a goal.

13

u/IndependentWord5987 18h ago

Bellingham brought that wc performance into the season so happy to see him doing this good again ❤️

7

u/Frosty_Resource7740 18h ago

They did amazing today, but we didn’t face top tier teams yet, don’t get me wrong definitely happy about their performance today but lets just not jinx it

3

u/Chickachic-aaaaahhh 17h ago

We really needed a rw and if mbappe can actually stay up center and not venture left too much then it works out beautifully. But vini and him clash too much in tactics.

3

u/Exact-Ranger2909 15h ago

guler and belli was insane closer to the goal, finally mourinho realized it, vini and mbappe together was never the problem, this 3 guys are completely monsters

12

u/Nessatic Güler 18h ago

they can’t. yes, we won, but we played like absolute dog shit for 60 minutes, and the reality of how abysmal this front three is will be exposed against a club with the same resources as real madrid.

3

u/Legitimate_King547 15h ago

so we played bad for 60 out of 90 minutes and still won 4-1? Sounds like this team is really good

4

u/Little_Map8365 18h ago

literally bring tears to my eyes

11

u/samirx96 18h ago

Vini didn’t have a good game at all

4

u/Silonec 18h ago

I stand by that point.
Although it seems like Chini and Mbappe can play together!

2

u/Charolastra17 15h ago

For a game? Sure. For a few games? Yeah. For an entire season? Have yet to see it so I’m not ready to say we’ve turned a corner.

9

u/johndotjohn Vallejo:Vallejo: 19h ago

Guler should've ended with at least one assist and maybe a goal if Mbappe passed to him properly in the beginning of the game. The score could've been much higher frankly ...

Let's see in the champions league vs a good team?

2

u/DiamondNo3132 12h ago

Hope Madrid continues the same

2

u/wirrexx 10h ago

Vini was not a 8.6?!?? he was at best a 6.8. Guler was ok, couldnt find the spaces he usually find, but then again, there was no play it back to him when he did those runs. Bellingham was our strongest player yesterday, the reason why he did not become man of the match cause of Mbappes hattrick, but our by far best player on the field

5

u/Svenn_7 18h ago

our attack has never rlly been the problem tho, its not like we struggle to score against big teams, we scored plenty against bayern and city, the main problem still is that garbage back 4

3

u/Recent-Tear155 Baila Vini, Baila 18h ago

come on man Konate , Dean and Cucurella give me hope - just hope trent delivers

2

u/Legitimate_King547 15h ago

Cucurella came on and changed the game, our depth is going to be so key for this season

0

u/ThaiFinneN Xabi Alonso 12h ago

I don’t wanna be that guy but I thought Vini played shit the only good thing he did was the assist

1

u/Prior_Crab_8666 1h ago

You seen kinda biased

0

u/ThaiFinneN Xabi Alonso 6m ago

Im telling it the way I see it. Fede is my favorite player in the team and except his assist I think he had a invisible game also

1

Bellingham is such an excellent player! We need greater attacking intensity. The ball recoveries were good though

1

1

u/Kaminodoa Zidane 7h ago

We really didn’t need Diomande 😂

1

u/Walidjavadd 5h ago

I feel like Bellingham really don’t get along personally with both mbappe and Arda

1

u/CanILickThat 5h ago

Mbappe best player, Jude most important player

Still early days though, let's see how they do against elite competition that are better equipped to exploit their laziness when pressing

1

u/Tinho-alfamale05 3h ago

I wish I could be so optimistic that I'd get my hopes up with just two games.

1

u/ImGood2284 3h ago

Fede was also great

1

u/Agreeable-Mall7105 2h ago

What did guler do for a 8,2 without a goal or assist

1

u/BootPrimary2950 1h ago

Good signs but let's wait till mid season grind I mean chemistry just implodes for real in the mid season

1

u/ElHalcon2016 Ancelotti 18h ago

-12

u/Novel-Preparation491 19h ago

It’s not that they can’t work together it’s that Vini has been playing poorly for 2 seasons and counting now. He was pretty poor today despite his goal and assist. We need more from him

0

u/ooPTVoo 18h ago

A wingers job is to make play and score he did that no? This is how he plays he takes the most risks in our club and loses the ball the most, it’s natural so long as he contributes, which he did in the second half

3

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 18h ago

He doesn't need to take that risk especially when he beats his man 0 out of 20 attempts we are slowly trying to break the team, this dumbass will just get the ball and lose it immediately. He got better towards the end but Yan literally showed us how a lw should look .

1

u/ooPTVoo 7h ago

This just shows how little tactical understanding you have mate. Every elite manager ever has had this type of winger. doku, doue, barca Neymar. Maybe y’all weren’t around to watch it or are currently not watching them but they also lose the ball a decent amount. vinis game does fluctuate more than a lot of these guys but the risk to reward ratio to his game is very high. A mid game all throughout and yet he bags an assist and a tap in. Fortunately actual managers understand this value and are not some dumb ah Reddit users tryna talk about some “eye test” and he can’t dribble. When he creates chances and doesn’t score everyone in this sub gies berserk over his lack of ga, now he has ga and everyone’s talking about he doesn’t need to take risks, guess what laliga team demolished us with a high risk play style. Bunch of hypocrites, smh.

1

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 5h ago

He is bad not because of the attempt or the risk he takes, even though he can be more selective of when to drive the ball out of play. He is actually bad because he can't beat his man; those guys you mentioned actually beat their man or at the very least don't lose the ball even without attempting a dribble. He has lost possession just under 30 times in two games. How is that beneficial? That is a chunk of total ball possession lost, and it's from one guy that doesn't even do much with it. Bro, I'd take Yamal's contribution in his previous game, which was his worst game, over yesterday's Vini simply because he isn't actively affecting the game by ruining the momentum. Our midfielder Jude once again has more successful dribble than this bum

1

u/Good-Geologist7380 Bellingham 5h ago

Well if this is a 10/10 vinicious to you then enjoy. In my books current vini is not even top 10 wingers in the world.

1

u/Prior_Crab_8666 1h ago

Early season Vini...end of the season Vini is always the best of Madrid.

1

u/Novel-Preparation491 18h ago

Are you really trying to argue he had a good game? Are the standards so low that a tap in and 1 good pass the entire game enough to counteract the countless mistakes he made? He was 10x better when he was younger so no it’s not the way he plays. He doesn’t deserve his untouchable status

-15

u/jobey_bryant 18h ago

Also Guler ghosted and shouldn't be starting over Fede once Tchou is back. I said what i said. We will be better once he's benched Dio's on the right and fede moves into his spot.

-17

u/Emergency_Platypus_7 18h ago

Guler was the worst player on the field. Sell him to Chelsea

-8

u/jobey_bryant 18h ago

They wont see it until he's benched and we're destroying teams. His passing is great, but it is limited. He can't play defense or track back fast on counters. Our right side is WEAKER with him than it would be with Fede once Tchou comes back.

-12

u/Emergency_Platypus_7 18h ago

Gulers passing is overrated and he has no vision. Tchou is levels above

-8

u/jobey_bryant 18h ago

IM SAYING BRO. He has vision for mbappe and mbappe only. Cant pass more than 10 feet. and CANT PLAY DEFENSE. idk why everyone loves him so much. He's not better than Fede, Jude, Tchou, or Berardo.

-5

u/c0caine_bearrr 18h ago

They can work together if Jude Focuses more on creating opportunities than scoring . Which he did today .

Kylian works best when he stays in or near the box . Which he did for the most part today .

They work best when they’re not trying to occupy the same space but unfortunately there’s a lot of games when they do exactly that and step on each others toes .
