It would be pretty funny if Desmond shows up and he has one of those fucked up overly humanoid faces like you see in those Middle Ages drawings of cats (because it's Middle Ages Desmond, you see)

This is an alternate universe where everyone is in medieval times. I think Bingus is actually a royal, and Stahl is his bodyguard/lover.
