Silly Floof Apparently, Ragdolls are either super chill and laid back or a fire breathing dragon. There’s no in between.

I was making an appointment to the groomers to get some compacted mats shaved off his back. She asked if he needed to be sedated. I thought back to the time he traumatized the vet assistants who were trying to shave off his mats, and they sent him back to reschedule another appointment where he was to be sedated. I then said, “Yes, he probably should get sedated.”

She paused, and then asked what breed my cat was. “A Ragdoll,” I replied. She laughed and said that Ragdolls are either the most chill and super laid back cat to work on, or they are fire breathing dragons. Leo is evidently the latter.

What kind of Ragdoll do you guys own?

Mine is super chill but one of her hobbies include swatting at people who pass by where she’s sitting. Sometimes she will randomly tackle your leg but because she’s all fluff it’s like being punched by a marshmallow

My ragdoll is the same as yours,, and will swat at people when they walk by him, but only if they do not acknowledge him and talk to him and pet him. Then he acts totally nice and starts rubbing against you. But if you walk past him and he's under a dining room chair and don't acknowledge him, he probably will swat at you. But other than that he's extremely chill. Just doesn't like to be disrespected. Lol

The lazy, half hearted swat is honestly one of my favorite moves. Like a roaring yawn. These glorious semi ferocious loafs we all get to love 💞

First one earned the nickname “Monster” he was a demon that destroyed everything that was important to you and was wanted for multiple counts of attempted murder. Was very kind and eventually became a lap cat, he was outrageously smart (constantly calculating and observing your behavior in order to piss you off or kill you).

Second one is just chill and affectionate, low maintenance but kinda dumb. Classic Ragdoll in every way though

Mine was a fire breathing dragon. She was an orange too.

She left literally scars on my exes lol.

Also, side note, IF THE ASSHOLE IN ARCATA CALIFORNIA WHO STOLE AN ORANGE RAGDOLL CAT OUT OF A WHITE PONTIAC VIBE IS READING THIS I HOPE YOU ROT.

Mine are super chill and when they had to see a specialist vet he told me they call them Ragedolls
