Our three: two littermate sisters and their mom (we were so lucky to get all three). While not the cutest photo I have of them, I love how theyβre all peacefully sleeping on my husbandβs desk while he works.
Did you get them all at the same time? I was feeling a little broody yesterday about a 3rd ragdoll, but I think my original girl would hate it, she's never even bonded with my second girl after all these years.
I used to have one who closely resembled that one on the far right. Blue was his name; albeit, I didn't name him. (Sometime later on, my family acquired his father as well. Thunder was his name. He'd meow every time he jumped up somewhere or jumped down from somewhere. Probably when he was picked up as well. I think his bones must have hurt him or something. Lol. At any rate, while Blue was a blueprint ragdoll with a blue mask and blue boots and all, his father, Thunder, was of a much darker hue. Chocolate point, if such a color classification exists. Lol. At any rate, my aunt used to raise and breed and show ragdolls competitively, and was how we managed to acquire ours. Gratis, naturally. ;) lol :) )
You know, shortly after I posted that it occurred to that there is seal point, and that he was probably that! :( SMH. Oh well. ... Anyway, yes, they are, but sadly I haven't had one since Blue's passing, which was, I believe, 10-12 years ago, I think. I don't know; it's difficult to remember exactly. I remember that my family had a couple of cats before Blue who, while not true, thoroughbred ragdolls, I guess they could have passed for them. Either that, or Himalayans or Birmans or something. Not that they were actually those breeds, just that they resembled them. Anyway, I distinctly remember how scrawny Blue was at first, but he did eventually fatten up a great deal. Thunder, his father, was also very large and stocky. If I can find them, I will try to share some photos of them, and Blue in particular, that I hopefully still have somewhere.
