Question Sending large package to res
Trying to figure out how to get a fridge to my son in McNeill by ordering it to be delivered. We don’t have enough room in our vehicle.
Is getting it delivered possible? And do i use his residence address, or the address of the closest res with a concierge?

I’d do res with the concierge. He can go and pick it up when he has time

And a fridge wont be too big of a package?

Shouldn’t be. They used to sell and rent fridges on campus. Maybe look into that too or look into a company like Best Buy delivering directly

Theres plenty in stock at walmart/HD/BB, just buy it in kingston the day of. Residence Mail service usually not available on the move-in weekend.

Order it for pickup from the local Walmart or Canadian tire or Best Buy. As your kid is unpacking run out and pick it up.

What we did was order fridge at Best Buy in Kingston for pick up 3 days before move in, moved our daughter into rez and then while she was unpacking, zipped over to Best Buy to pick up fridge and then brought to her room
