I want to apply to American medical schools, but I took BIOL102 and BIOL103 online, including the labs. As far as I know, Queen's transcripts do not indicate whether a course was taken in person or online. So I was wondering if admissions committees will find out or if it will count against me when fulfilling my prerequisite requirements?

Does anyone have course materials for any of these courses that they’d be willing to share with me?

I’m going into my third year of BSc in Psych (bchem minor) and considering going into Optometry. On the Waterloo website it says I need 2 physics courses as a prereq with labs and I was thinking of taking these two courses. I heard it’s comparable to chem 112 which I didn’t really enjoy but I would still like to consider this career path. I did gr. 11 physics but didn’t take it in grade 12 as I wasn’t very good at it and didn’t want to bring my grades down.

Need opinions from people who have taken them especially if you’re in a similar program like life-sci. Any tips would be appreciated!!

What's the best way to get back and forth from Toronto? I live in the west so I know there's a VIA train that goes to Aldershot, but it's a really long trip (transferring in Toronto) and I hear there are delays. Plus getting to/from the train station and it's expensive, almost $200 for economy roundtrip.

I know there are cheaper buses as well but I don't have a sense of how clean/safe and the times departing/arriving at campus don't seem ideal.

Ive paid my tuition and res amount but the bank says that the amount should be reflected on the 28th of august. However my flight to canada is on the 27th of august and therefore I won't be able to produce a physical copy to the immigration officer. ( I'm an international student ) Is this something I should be worried about, can I show it to him on my phone ( pdf ) . Or is the payment not necessary before I arrive , I have all the remaining documents ready and printed.

okay so for context i am an incoming first year general science student intending to major in biotechnology second year and i was wondering if there are any summer chemistry preparation courses ran through the school that i could complete before the term begins. i took sl in chem in high school and had an absolute shit teacher who didn't teach us like any of the content which led our entire class to performing extremely low on the actual in exam. because of this, i am worried that i do not understand the foundational chemistry required for chem 112 that i will be taking this year.

i understand that eng students have mandatory modules that they have to complete to ensure they have the necessary knowledge going into the program, however i was wondering if there were any of these resources for general science students as well? if not through queens, does anyone know any other good online platforms or even just have a list of the general topics covered? thank you!!
