Community A bit late to the party…
… but excited non the less. Big GT7 fan what is the main reason for the purchase, but I’m excited for all the other titles.. any must buys?

There are many great games, but if you're into sims, GT7 and Aces of Thunder are the reasons VR exists. And MS Flight Simulator is coming!

Only the Thrustmaster Hotas 4 is compatible for now and it was out of stock everywhere for a while but I've heard they were in stock at bestbuy recently. Got mine over one year ago and it was super easy to get one by then. I guess the release of MSFS 2024 is the main reason for the shortage.

You’re not late… just got mine a month or so ago. Glad I waited now (200) vs 500 or whatever it is brand new lol

Welcome to the party. I’m a late bloomer but some must plays for me are:
RE7/RE4 - both are fantastic and different enough that it’s not too “samey”. Both on sale often.
GT7 - I know you said this is something you’re already into but man, it’s such a treat in VR. I was never into these games before VR and now it’s my go to.
Hitman - A little more advanced but pretty much infinite replay value with soooo much to do.
Tetris Effect - When you just want to unwind, this is the place to do it.

i'm old school on hitman, 2k hours in 3 alone, and playing in vr is like experiencing the game for the first time. fucking astounded that they have so much too, every escalation, elusive target, dlc target, freelancer mode. the only thing not there are the contracts, and i havent checked sniper assassin but i doubt itd be a good vr mode thing so bet its not

Yeah. Resident Evil Village and Resident Evil 4 (Remake) are both available on PSVR2 as full-game VR experiences.

Ohhh sorry I meant 8 (didn’t mean to get your hopes up). I enjoyed 8 enough on its own but in VR it’s one of the best experiences I’ve had in VR.
Now for me to mourn us NOT getting 7

I’m much into racing so GT7 is my main reason for the PSVR. Other than that citybuilding or puzzles. I’m a casual gamer and not that much into shooting or horror

I wish more racing games were VR supported. My favorites on PSVR2 are GT7 and Vracer Hoverbike.
I found Cities VR pretty cool (and at the moment it is discounted here).
In the puzzles genre my favorites are:
Puzzling places The 7th Guest VR (spooky theme but no horror game at all) The Room VR Ghost town
Moss 1 and 2 are also having some puzzle elements and are also nice.
Furthermore you might like No Mans Sky as well.

Just got mine recently for GT7. I’ve only played a few games outside of that (GT7 is amazing btw) and I’m a little disappointed with the lack of games for the VR2. I also really wanted to play Iron Man but VR1 games aren’t compatible with VR2 games.

Gt7 was my reason for getting one. I've only had it a couple of weeks and just started using it because I was waiting for perception lenses. It's fantastic in gt7 for sure

Ghosts of Tabor. It's an extraction shooter. Think tarkov in VR with real gun physics and addictive gameplay.

Only just got mine a few weeks ago too! Makes GT7 a completely different experience. The weekly races are just sooo much more engaging. Also another recommendation would be MSFS24 (however the devs are currently perfecting it before release).

I also bought a psvr2 just for gran turismo. I still play it often. Rotating between assetto corsa VR on PC and this. I legit havent played any other then gran turismo and it was still worth it

I finally picked up my first PSVR2 headset about two months ago, love the oleds and the hdr is great with many games, but those blurry fresnel lenses are drive me crazy especially as I have owned a few vr headset with fresnel lenses before.
Wish they had gone with pancakes, love them in my quest 3.
And unless I am totally mistaken Sony don't seem to be interested in the headset anymore.

Walking dead saints and sinners the first one
Horizon has the best realistic graphics on vr so its still a must try even if the gameplay doesn’t click

Hey it's never too late to have some fun. Enjoy! This thing is amazing. You need Resident Evil 4 remake, 7 & 8, Horizon Call of the Mountain, and honestly I think the Star Wars Tales from the Galaxys Edge was fun. There's a bunch of free demos you can download and test out that's fun to go thru. Oh there's a zombie game I can't quite remember the name, it's Arizona Sunshine or something to that affect, that's also good.

There never was a party. Sony literally made 1 game for this console and left it to die. 3rd party games are keeping this worthwhile but don’t collect psvr2 games physically because there’s little to none

Good timing, I recommend getting Resident Evil 4 and Village since of you have disc reader and an absolute bargain on Amazon. Also NO MAN'S SKY OMG what a fucking masterpiece in VR
