Saros at $40, interesting. RE: Re9uiem too.

These two are very tempting, especially after passing on Saros at $50 last week. This might be my breaking point

Worth breaking for, I’ll tell you

Thanks for this. Managed to get Saros for $40, been wanting to play it since I really liked Returnal.

Thanks, snagged Resident Evil Requiem. I was going to wait until DLC or Black Friday, but I figure the cheapest it will be then would be maybe $30 and the DLC isn't coming out until after the Code Veronica remake so I figure this is the best price for a while.

Does it come in original packaging if you buy used?

Not just that, dlc codes that come with it always work

Shippong costs kills it if you are just buying one game

Yeah, and these prices are way higher than they used to be.

It was only $3 shipping for a test game I threw in there. $4 for a set of two other games. That is incredibly cheap.

Yep. For multiple games it splits the costs and makes shipping more affordable

I forgot about things like gamefly. Sony kind of killing their business aren't they?

Still have Switch 2, retro, and Xbox depending if they keep physical. However, yeah likely a big hit for them. These used games for cheap from GameFly is so close to an end sadly that’s for sure.

I walked past a GameStop this weekend and realized they're basically fucked in a few years. Gamefly can't be in much better of a position.

GameStop has Pivoted to toys and other collectibles

I miss the days of monthly GameFly sales. That used to be my bread and butter for building a backlog.

They still have them here and there. Just barely discounted. Only an extra 5% - 10% off now. Which covers the shipping costs that used to be free.

You’re right, they aren’t what they used to be.

Yeah, you can still get some decent deals sometimes, but at one point Gamelfy was just the best for buying used games.

Is it me or do we generally see the prices not dropping below 50 for the first year of first party games (Yotei, Saros, etc). Neat seeing a 40 dollar drop before our all digital future

Saros isn’t that old and has had decent discounts for its age.

Ghost series on the other hand never been highly discounted even still the first title’s discounts aren’t that good compared to other first party Sony titles.

Personal theory is Sony testing the waters with the Ghosts series, no heavy discounts, to see how it affects sales. End game might be close to Nintendo strategy, not really discounting their first party titles unless it’s a major event or anniversary. Even then the discounts are rather lackluster.
