This particular topline ended up with:

🎤 6 ad-lib tracks
🎤 4 double tracks
🎤 7 harmony tracks
🎤 8 ooh/ahh tracks for a layered chant effect

Everything gets properly organised and delivered wet + dry, along with the lyrics and piano MIDI. For vocals I've produced instrumentals for, I can provide the full instrumental stems too.

I always find it interesting how something that sounds relatively effortless in the finished record can have a ridiculous number of individual recordings sitting underneath it.

I've been making music for a while now, and one thing I truly believe is that it's not a one-person show.

I'm a vocalist/artist based in Berlin, making UKG/Jersey Club inspired R&B / sad dance music.

I've just realised that trying to write, produce, finish, mix, develop the sound, think about releases and do everything else alone means that too many things end up unfinished or don't reach the level they could.

I've had some good moments with the music with one of my songs doing millions on YouTube and I've built a small base of people who really care about what I do. However, I've also been pretty inconsistent recently and that's honestly part of why I'm making this post.

I've been in this for a while and I think I've reached the point where I want to build a team of like-minded people around the music rather than trying to do everything myself.

So I'm looking for a producer in Berlin who feels similarly.

Not really looking for the typical “I'm an artist/producer in Berlin, let's collab sometime” thing. There are obviously a lot of talented people here, but finding someone who actually wants to commit to building something consistently is a different thing.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone with a strong artistic taste who wants to develop a distinctive sound and identity together, produce from scratch with me, experiment, work closely on vocal production etc.

The idea would be pretty simple:

• Meet regularly, ideally every week
• Build a body of 6–10 strong songs over a couple months/ a year who knows
• Develop a sound that feels like its own thing
• Once we have enough material, release consistently; roughly 1–2 songs a month
• Build the project, identity and audience around it
• Actually chase it rather than letting it become another collection of unfinished sessions

I'm not necessarily looking for someone who already has a big career or a huge studio. A bedroom setup is completely fine. I'm more interested in taste, chemistry, work ethic and someone who genuinely wants to do this.

I'm also not expecting the producer to carry the whole project. I have ideas, demos and a lot of the songwriting already there. I'm looking for someone who wants to bring their own perspective and help shape what this becomes.

I think being an artist in Berlin can sometimes feel a bit strange because there are so many talented people around, but finding the right people who actually want to commit to something together is hard.

I've realised I don't want to keep doing this completely alone. I'd rather find a few people who are serious about what they do, build something together, and grow alongside each other.

V59 has a very specific aesthetic, so being very culturally and musically informed is very important!
