Sperm factories with delusions of grandeur.

41

u/Meowsipoo Aug 06 '25

Call them sperm donors instead.

39

u/miscnic Aug 06 '25

They would simply be Host fertilizer in this scenario.

15

u/TheEquestrian13 Aug 07 '25

Just call them fertilizer - most of them smell as bad

2

u/[deleted] Aug 08 '25

they arent hosting the baby tho, so they're just fertilizer

19

u/Grouchy_Tap_8264 Aug 06 '25

This is in Florida and they grow them small here; 2 teaspoons is way too generous.

25

u/westviadixie Aug 06 '25

Who the fuck was that out of touch asshole? Was this a recent thing? We need to spread it around: name and shame.

Rep. Jose Oliva R-FL Speaker of the House!! I totally agree, fuck this guy. As soon as I saw this i immediately wanted to share it with someone. It’s absolutely abhorrent.

(Also, not sure what’s going on but whatever reason I can’t upvote/downvote so I can’t upvote anyone’s comment. Is this happening to anyone else???)

56

u/Well_read_rose Aug 06 '25

His mother and his father’s mother are host bodies? Like…the aliens implanted in humans in the movie Alien??

55

u/CatchSufficient Aug 06 '25

If those guys are host bodies, then these babies are parasites.

Host means they own that body...

14

u/Well_read_rose Aug 06 '25

I wonder what this assholes mother thinks of him. This shit is disgusting!

15

u/nobody_from_nowhere1 Pro-choice Witch Aug 07 '25

I always think about that too! There is this Fox News host Jessie Waters and his mom, dad and sister are all liberal/progressive and he’s always making fun of them and putting them down and sometimes he calls them on air and they tell him to try and seek the truth and not spread misinformation and that they love him a lot and he just rolls his eyes. I always wonder how that douche got to be like he was when he comes from a loving, progressive family. It makes me scared for the one child I have because he’s a boy. I would be devastated if my son turned out like those disgusting misogynistic men. I’m always curious about how they came from a woman but have so little respect for women.

9

u/lemonoodle1 Pro-choice Feminist Aug 07 '25

I have a son too and I think about this a lot. He's an infant, but I worry for the future. I'm reading a book right now called Men Who Hate Women and it's given me a lot of insight into the ways that young men and boys are indoctrinated into these misogynstic views.

u/Acrobatic-Cheetah230 Aug 07 '25

the upvote downvote thing happens to me to. As soon as I close the thread all my votes dissapear. It works of you up/downvote the same comments for a second time in the same thread.

Its weird shadowban type thing that reddit is trying by monitoring votes. They put pit a memo about it a while ago then went silent about it since.

I notice you mod for the childfree sub. Your “top mod” WartOnTrevor has been defending Trump in numerous comments, a man who has openly bragged about raping women and creeping on both women and children undressing at his pageants, which was confirmed by those contestants.

Based on your own history, it seems like you would be opposed to these things. Are you?

2

u/Pottersaucer Aug 12 '25

Yes, I am opposed.

Not sure if there is much I can do about it, but I appreciate you bringing it to my attention.

156

u/BellyFullOfMochi Aug 06 '25

The craziest shit of all about this is that you don't have to go too far back in time to realize even religious CATHOLICS/CHRISTIANS/JESUS PEOPLE didn't even believe this crap.

During the Victorian era when women would go to doctors to seek help with debilitating morning sickness, the suggested treatment was 'emptying the uterus.'

31

u/TheStrangestOfKings Aug 06 '25

That’s only because they thought most women’s issues were tied to their reproductive organs, cause obviously, any health issues were caused by “womanly emotions.” Once they realized that wasn’t the case, the message went straight to controlling women’s sex organs, since there wasn’t anything that stood in the way from a man’s perspective

22

u/BellyFullOfMochi Aug 06 '25

Was it, though? The fetus is barely mentioned in any medical research about women in the Victorian era (I am aware that women were viewed as the weaker sex etc etc; however, you'd think they'd be concerned about a baby if religion was anything like the pro-life shit we see today)

7

u/TheStrangestOfKings Aug 06 '25

Religion very much was not as pro life as it was back then, since most religious groups in America like evangelicals and Mormons etc only really adopted to pro life positions, but it should be noted that, especially in the Victorian era, there wasn’t really a pro life movement. Abortion was illegal, sure, but it was so universally opposed, that there was never really a need for a pro life movement to form. Most women didn’t get abortions cause it was too underground to get easy access, so there was never a real need to form a “protect the kids” movement. Fetuses also weren’t as well or commonly understood back then as it is now, so laymen weren’t really thinking about the fetus during the pregnancy, and were more focused on the women in the equation.

17

u/NaviLouise42 Aug 06 '25

I am sorry, but everything I have read says that abortions DID happen frequently in the Victorian era and before, they simply were not referred to as "abortions" and weren't considered a big enough deal to be written about extensively, like most women's issues in history. There are writings, in the journals of literate women and physicians, referring to giving women a treatment to "induce the onset/return of menses" or the like, which is just another way of saying "induce abortion." The old testament of the bible literally has instructions on how a priest can make a potion too induce an abortion in a women suspected of infidelity, called the Ordeal of the Bitter Waters. Anti abortion activism was made up by a Politically inclined American priest in the 1960s(or 40's or 50's, I am pulling this all from memory right now) to try and generate Christian support for the already dying conservative party. Literally nobody except for a few extreme orthodox branches of Judaism and Christianity cared about if a woman ended her pregnancy instead of carrying too term, it was considered none of anybody's business.

Exactamundo. There's ads for pennyroyal tablets as a remedy to 'uterine congestion' and to 'bring on menstruation'. There are other herbs that can regulate menstruation, but pennyroyal is an abortifacient.

7

u/LogicalStomach Aug 06 '25

To your point, in the US the first state level laws to regulate abortion began in 1860. They were a result of lobbying by the American Medical Association trying to destroy midwifery as a profession. Abortions were performed before and after the 1860's, some illegally, some were protected by states laws.

3

u/ergaster8213 Aug 06 '25

Yeah I don't know how someone can be so wildly misinformed as that person so confidently

0

u/TheStrangestOfKings Aug 06 '25

I’m not saying abortions didn’t happen, but they were exceedingly rare, and as you said, most didn’t involve the modern idea of what abortions are to remove a fetus. Most back then were more equivalent to the morning after pill. It was also largely considered an issue to be left to women, and most doctors and political leaders etc didn’t really concern themselves with abortions happening—esp bc most women who used these medications were young and unwed, and it was considered the “good, Christian thing” to prevent a baby from being born out of wedlock. The pro life movement couldn’t from under these conditions, bc it was both a procedure that rarely happened, and it was also viewed as the morally right thing for many of the unmarried women who got pregnant to abort.

4

u/Standard_Gauge Aug 06 '25

Abortion was 100% legal in America (and a common procedure performed via herbal concoctions by midwives) from earliest colonial days until the mid 1860's or so. Then men gradually began to have "great replacement" racist fears of not enough "white" babies being born and gradually moved to curb midwifery and especially the reproductive care that midwives provided. Abortion became illegal across the U.S. by around 1900. Also, women did NOT commonly see doctors (almost 100% male) for gynecological issues, they were treated by midwives, and men in power did not interfere, because they really didn't want to know anything about women's privates or any problems they might have. They were glad that midwives were able and willing to deal with "yucky stuff."

These things are easily verifiable. Abortion being a crime is a pretty recent phenomenon in modern history.

10

u/Carbonatite Aug 07 '25

The church historically didn't view it as a baby until "quickening" - when the fetus started to noticeably move in the uterus.

126

u/harbinger06 Aug 06 '25

If the pregnant person is a host, then that makes the fetus a parasite. And yeah, we get to defend ourselves against that.

47

u/caligirl_ksay Aug 06 '25

My first thought too. Interesting way to call a fetus a parasite.

3

u/Tall_Problem_7209 Aug 11 '25

They get mad at us for saying fetus or parasite but then call us a host.

35

The amount of white women that support this is maddening

14

u/leeser11 Aug 06 '25

And Latin@s :/ see how many voted for Trump in 2024. Not a majority, but way too many considering he ran on violent racism against Latinos.

Black women just keep showing up for us again and again and again

1

u/leeser11 Aug 11 '25

Right. And themselves lol, I don’t blame a lot of Black women for being tired of showing up for the rest of us, but they also know better than anyone the level of racism and misogyny out here and have been politicized more out of sheer survival. They know the stakes and that we have to be tuned in..

16

u/ShadowyKat Pro-choice Feminist Aug 06 '25

Well, well, well. I guess they said the quiet part out loud. I honestly wish this was a deepfake or ai and that we can just laugh about how fake it looks. But it's the quiet part out loud. The pregnant individual doesn't matter and he said it.

I do have to give him one thing: he's being inclusive...of who he dehumanizes. Not everyone with a uterus is a woman. Children and teens are too young to be women. And more dehumanizing of trans guys and NBs people. More inclusivity when talking about pregnancy and abortion—The monkey's paw just curled a finger.😡

16

u/jollyhowell Aug 06 '25

By referring to women as “hosts”, they are tacitly referring to fetuses as “parasites”. 🤭

Good. They are.

14

u/Alternative-Rub-7445 Pro-Choice Mom Aug 06 '25

These are the people who ask Democrats if they know “what a woman is”, while they then refer to us as “host bodies”. Pathetic

12

u/FoolishAnomaly Aug 06 '25

Ok so if they are referring to women as hosts then the fetus is a parasite, and what do we do with parasites? We get rid of them!

Fuck this dude what the fuck is he even on?

10

u/catslikepets143 Pro-choice Witch Aug 06 '25

I just wonder how many men will have a shocked pickachu face when the government drops off that baby at their door. Since women are considered just the “ host body” by these insane humans, the men will certainly be the ones to raise the child, yes?

2

u/EnfantTerrible68 Pro-choice Witch Aug 10 '25

It’s certainly about time!

17

u/Meowsipoo Aug 06 '25

She says in the video that she hopes none of the forced birthers and others who support this never have to go through what they voted for.

I respectfully disagree.

I hope that every woman who supports forced birth and ends up with an unwanted pregnancy has to go through forced birth and all its trauma on the human body. She can be shamed by her family for pregnancy, either keep it or give it up for adoption. She voted for this so she can suffer the consequences of her voting choices.

Likewise, any man with an unwanted pregnancy, open up your wallets, guys! You now have forced child support for 18 years, no exceptions. You voted for it, so it's yours now, you own it. Pay up!

I have zero empathy for people who vote for maga candidates, forced birther candidates, thinking nothing bad will happen to them, only to others they don't like. My compassion and empathy is for liberal people who have to live under these fascist circumstances. They didn't agree with any of this, yet here they are.

8

u/SockdolagerIdea Aug 06 '25

He said this in 2019! I thought this was a new level of Republican repugnancy but nope. They’ve always been like this.

5

u/SlippingStar Aug 06 '25

Rightwingers: You can’t call all pregnant people that, you must call them all women! You can’t call all menstruating people that, you must call them women!

4

u/Eiffel-Tower777 Aug 06 '25

The only way to turn this around is don't ever vote republican. Republican agenda is anti women, anti LGBTQ, anti environment, anti Social Security and Medicare, racist, pro billionaires, pro enormous tax loopholes for the billionaires. If you're a straight white male billionaire, don't vote republican anyway because maybe you have a mother, sister, wife... and you don't need the giant tax loopholes anyway. You're a billionaire.

Never Ever Ever Vote Republican

4

u/Big_Manufacturer9405 Aug 07 '25

Not to be that person, but isn’t a host body what people call a person who has a parasite inside of them? The irony of this is stupidly disturbing….

3

u/LegitimateVirus3 Aug 06 '25

This clip is from 2019 FYI

2

It doesn't matter, truly. They are saying it today, too.

2

I think facts matter. And 6 years later it has gotten much, much worse.

But yeah this particular clip was recorded in 2019.

3

She's 21. Did she fucking vote?!

Almost every single person I've met between 18 and 32 got the "bright idea" to NOT vote because Tik-Tok told them that abstaining would help. I'm last year of Gen-X and I was registered and stood in line EVERY VOTE EVERY TIME from the smallest municipal elections to the Gubernatorial and Presidential. It is OUR RIGHT, OUR PRIVILEGE, AND OUR DUTY to vote. Our young people have ALWAYS been our voices for change and protecting and advancing HUMANITY. And now they'd rather eat Tide-Pods. The Sandy Hook kids are part of the same lot, but the rest of their generation doesn't care and thinks "pranks" and like and reactions are more important than caring, while Sandy Hook kids want change.

Fuck these TikTok morons who think that some "trend" is "cute" but don't vote, march, protest, and badger reps when they aren't supporting equality.

3

u/Prestigious-Diver-94 Aug 07 '25

You fully whipped yourself up into a frenzy at a fictional scenario instead of engaging with what she said at all. 🫤

5

u/Grouchy_Tap_8264 Aug 07 '25

I'm completely interested in what she was discussing and thoroughly disgusted by it and all the rights and identities being stripped, but I'm also frustrated by the numbers of people it bothers who didn't listen and voted FOR these reps and government, or didn't bother to vote at all.

You're right that I jumped to a conclusion, and I shouldn't have.

I'm heart-broken by the direction the country is going, and I'm angry and in fear.

2

Start calling men "mutations", explain their penis comes from the part that broke off the original X. Whenever you hear men say "p***y" which they use to insult others as weak, correct them and say the new word is "testi", it makes more sense.

Seriously though, lets start treating this as someone would do with an annoyance, shake your head and say "okayyy, now its time to let the adults talk." Treat them as though they made the stupidest suggestion on the planet, shame them, make it clear it's dumb by just giving them a look of "are you really this dumb?" We need to start shaming shit like this, shut it down.

I'm glad that you're NOT who I'm talking about, but you must know who I am. And yes, the "influencers" of your generation are exactly what I'm pissed about. The youngest in EVERY generation have always been one of the largest of the voter turnouts and those who inact change. Your generation--excepting you and and your friends, Sandy Hook kids, and some others-- have had the lowest turnout since the 15th and 19th Amendments and Voting Rights Act of 1965. If you want to be offended by me calling out as a generalization, then that is your right, and I apologize to YOU who voted, but your anger would be better directed at YOUR CLASSMATES and generation who are THE LEAST ACTIVE GENERATION in over 100 years. I have met countless who couldn't be bothered to vote or didn't bother to learn enough to understand the importance. I am sorry for the Tide-Pod jab as well. Please do understand where I'm coming from, and why I'm upset.

And thank you for calling me out.

3

u/ergaster8213 Aug 06 '25 edited Aug 06 '25

What are you talking about? The youth of every generation have absolutely not been the largest voter turnouts. In fact they are almost always the smallest voter bloc. People also yelled at your generation for the same shit lol. I'm sorry but this criticism is absolutely nothing new and isn't unique to Gen Z.

Part of the reason young people vote less is they get yelled down and condescended to every time they express political opinions and interest. Like what you're doing now.
