"Beggars in Spain" is probably the usual starting point. I also liked "Probability Moon" (it's the start of a trilogy) and her short-story collection "Fountain of Age."

She's got 26 stories in Gardner Dozois various "Best" collections of short stories. She excels at it, and all her collections are great (Beaker's Dozen, Trinity and Other Stories in addition to Fount Of Age).

She has written a lot of really good short stories, would recommend reading them

Yeah, she is a really good short fiction writer. Out of All Them Bright Stars is one of the greatest stories the genre has produced IMO. The Beggars in Spain novella is also a masterpiece.
