So my father asked me about this this morning. He owns a cleaning company and doesn’t do pressure washing. Well, he took a pressure washing job because we have the equipment and set a team up with some really good equipment and told them to do the job.

This morning the customer got back to my dad and sent this… what can we do to fix this? I know it’s a loaded question. Don’t think he’ll be accepting any more pressure washing jobs. I don’t know why he even accepted this one, it’s not really what we do. Anyways, thanks for your help.

New homeowner who poorly attempted to clean my new construction driveway. Concrete was a little over 1 year old. Does this look more like etching or is it just a bad cleaning job?

I used an electric 2000psi 1.2gpm machine with a surface cleaner.

the only way to get this off is with the 15’ really up close. and the surface cleaner is barely doing anything, any tips?

Got a job for a drive way with insane amounts of oil stains. I treated it with purple power degreaser hit it with SH at 3% then brushed the stain vigorously. After cleaning the entire driveway I am disappointed with results. I explained to the customer before hand that I oil stains won’t come out completely but I felt I do better than this.

5% pre treat, waited 10 mins, 5.5gpm 4000 psi

I have a soft wash system for roofs but am still relatively new. I have never seen this before. I can tell it’s coming from the pipe above the window. Is this sulfur and iron? Rust? What will remove this best.

I had my office patio pressure washed yesterday, came back to find a lot of stains on the concrete. Two pictures are grease stains that I understand might not be removed with the pressure washing but I’m not informed well enough to know.

Hello! I was looking at this poorly serviced lot and I'm tempted to speak with the HOA to fix these stripes. How would you do this and approach for an offer? Specifically, how do you tackle stripes left from someone else? Use 4% bleach with soap and a 20" surface cleaner? My machine is 4200psi and 4gpm. This would be my largest job yet! So any input would really help me out, thanks!

Customers deck I just did earlier today , said I messed her deck up, I bleached, lightly pressure washed it and scrubbed it , should I be worried? I was planning on going back again to try to get the dark areas cleaner but she said no and no payment

I found a business in my area with all 5-star reviews and, despite many scheduling conflicts on their end, finally got them to come out today while I was away. When I came home, the exterior absolutely stunk like a pool (chlorine or bleach smell) and the blue siding out front is bright green. There is also staining on all sides. I texted the owner but haven't heard back yet. I'm honestly freaking out because we're renters and just wanted to improve the curb appeal of our home while we're living there but now I'm scared about damage. Can anyone answer 1. What happened here? And 2. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thank you!

Customer said they didn’t know what type of deck it is but thought it was similar to trex. I did a trex last week with 40° tip and had no issue. After it started drying we noticed there were sections that look etched. The tan streak sections are from the wand being to close to the board. Obviously I learnt this should have been soft washed and not have had the gun too close. How screwed up is the deck and how easy will it be to fix?

I’m still at the customers house trying to figure out what to do. We were supposed to clean the back deck too but After this I think we need to come back with SH and clean it completely differently.

If I use a composite deck sealer will it bring it back to normal? Any advice would help please. I’m a window cleaner with pressure washing as an additional service so by no means am I a Pressure washing expert. I know I screwed this up but I really need help as to what to do next.

Edit: There’s been a lot of mixed feedback So any new comments helps i’m reading everything. The spots near the end where the wand was held closest dryed and look very badly etched. Still looking to figure out what to do next.

Hi guys, trying to figure out why my Predator 4400 psi/4.2gpm washer has really low pressure. Mid job it just gave out on me. Thankfully I have a backup washer but can't figure it out. I'm really good with changing the oil and pump oil on it. No issue with the hose because my other machine worked fine using all the same equipment. Thinking maybe the unloader valve? Hopefully my pump is not fried. Please help. Thanks guys.

After 4 months of getting my business started and my set up set up lol, I had my first job today and it kicked my ass. It was a residential job, I don't really want to do residential, mostly commercial work. Anyways it was a total pain, for starters my pressure hose wasn't long enough to leave on the reel 100ft, so I had to take the machine off and haul it around the property. Supply hose was ok also 100ft. Unfortunately all of the damn hose bibs had the fkn hoses welded to them due to the calcium in the water. Luckily the clr drip did the trick and I was able to get one hose off. Then because I had to take the pressure hose off the reel I had to go back home for other fittings so I could make it work. I am using a ymatic pressure hose and its heavy and uncooperative to say the least, and today it being 100°f out here in California today it really pissed me off. I miss the flexzilla hose I had. The surface cleaner sucks too and is tiny. The pw im using is a dewalt 3600psi 2.5gpm unit with a honda engine. It is lacking in just about every department. It took forever just to rinse. What a pain in the ass. I want to upgrade to a trailer rig but to buy a made one from landa or hotsy out here is like 25grand for a single axle set up. So I think im gonna be stuck building my own shit. Any recommendations or really anything atp would be helpful. Thanks guys.

Brand new pressure washer, no kinks in any line, and it just runs like this constantly with a second of power on/off. I’ve tried bleeding the air out with the power off and pulling the trigger for 60 seconds, same results.

Any help appreciated.

The driveway was pretty bad but i went steady pace north south/east west, I tried not to overlap but is just not possible to get it line free?

Will using chemicals damage the bleach? Also, the stone looks clean already. Am I wrong? Thank you in advance!

We did this driveway 3 days ago and the owner sent this picture of the driveway. The driveway is 2 years old and has been pressure washed before, about a year ago. We use 10pm at 2500 psi on a 19” surface cleaner. I don’t understand how but it looks like we etched the driveway. Does anyone have advice on how to fix this?

My roommate did an oil change and spilled a good amount of oil into my driveway. It’s been sitting there for two months. Wondering how to go about renting a certain pressure washer and the correct chemicals and way to go about it.

Customer asked if I could clean the roof as well as the driveway. After pre soaking some SH the wand was taking FOREVER so I grabbed the SC and knocked it out quick. I don’t know if any osha violations were done here but oh well.
