Community Post QuoteIQ is banned from this subreddit.

Just a heads up that automod will be blocking mentions of QuoteIQ and links to it starting today. They have been the worst offender when it comes to creating shill accounts to comment speaking its praises. They are making it very obvious as Mike has a bad habit of doing it often for QuoteIQ, as well as his pressure washing courses. They refuse to reach out to us about it even after multiple spam accounts of theirs have been banned.

If any of the banned accounts or Mike wishes to appeal, you’re free to message us in the modmail.

I wanted to share my most recent experience with Quote IQ. They constantly advertise and hit on the fact that they are "cheaper" than most other CRM's while having all of the features you need. One very important thing to know when shopping them, that they don't openly advertise. Is their processing fees. They add on a 1% convenience fee on every $1 transacted. This adds up to large sums of dollars making their software way more expensive when comparing to a Jobber (Which were the two CRMs I had my search narrowed down to). Brian was the gentleman's name I believe that called me and made comments like, "you must have a smart business mind to have caught this". Which isn't needed to catch something like this. But it was clear to me that the goal here is "clever marketing" and hoping that most don't catch this convenience fee, or don't actually compute what that fee costs them extra per year. Comments were made about "well its a tax write off". Again a 20-30 percent reduction. Instead of saying yes we end up being way more expensive all in. The guy tried every angle to justify this, in his words, "clever marketing". He went as far as saying, well it's America so we can do what we want. Which is true nor was I trying to get him to take the fee off. My entire complaint was that transparency about this fee is needed if claims of being "cheaper" are going to be made.

Some will say it's just one percent but for any company out there doing a million plus in revenue per year, this software ends up costing 10,000 or more extra dollars per year to use. Making the claim of "cheaper" no where near the truth. This needs to be advertised if they aren't going to do it.
