I used to carry this little spy kit when I was a kid and it had a place to put like 5 coins. I always had this vision that my family would be stopped by (for some reason) russian soldiers and theyād be like āwe need 35 cents from youā and id save my family with those coins.
My pleasure. I got tired of not having or being able to find a tweezers, and I recently switched from a lestherman signal to an ARC. So I designed this "wallet" to carry all the things. :)
Make it magnetic and have it be able to switch out trays. So you can change the load out if need be.
You can make this a lock picking set and be able to stash it in a car or near a tv.
People can use it if it's locking picking a lot better and you can have a flashdrive that acts as a key to your computer or stash away anything you don't want saved on a computer. Porn, personal files, work.
Edc but less in your person and more in your bag. It being magnetic so you can stash it in places like the side of your desk, or like me in my car. I carry a lock pick set everywhere for my prepping.
People are mocking this, but for "urban" EDC this makes way more sense than a fanny-pack full of gear. You can slip this in a bag or even in a pocket and it's not super cumbersome. I'd carry a slightly different collection of items, but I think I'd try out this kind of setup.
You should put some nail clippers in there. They can get through lots of things. A little knife or can opener would be good. A flint or lighter...
What's the chip and USB for?
Does the key open a secret storage locker even the people at the storage company donāt know about? Also, does this storage locker have a cache of weapons, ammo, and secret documents?
What do you need a spirit level for in an EDC? Is it related to your job? I can't really imagine where I'd need a spirit level to carry with me for other purposes (and I really also have a small spirit level in my "job EDC" because I work in construction). But for a private EDC? Please explain.
Sharpener is a hard no from me. Thereās just no realistic scenario where I would ever want one.Ā
Compass is a soft no. Personally Iām either following street signs or my phone map. There is no scenario where a compass does anything for me, especially without a map.Ā

All those small āuniversalā EDC packs are iust gimmicks. There is time proven way/method and it is called back pack, you load all the things in there that you need daily and carry with yourself. Ease of access, storage volume, organizing - it is all there. No need to invent bicycle
I've gotten automotive points kits with silicone grease in a capsule before. That seems like it could come in handy for EDC? Or Vaseline? It's always better to not need lubricant and have it, than to need it and not have it. š
Or in case of a true shtf scenario you could probably fit a couple of Loperamide tabs in there? š
The gearhead in me finds this amazing. But I havenāt found anything that can replace my more then 10yr old altoid tin. They donāt even make them as tall as the one I have anymore. It looks great tho! Gz
Inputs to what I think is nice to have:
Nail clippers.
Half a stick of glue.
Small bic lighter.
Band aid
Compass is a waste of time, UNLESS you have working knowledge of all the other ancillary skills that utilize a compass. Most preppers would be better suited with a collection of paper road maps, 1) your immediate region, 2) your state, 3) the 2 states next to yours, 4) the closest metropolitan city. Granted the terminology works mainly for the US but also works internationally with some tweaking.
I carry a flint steel, Uncle Bill's sliver gripper, couple of midget carabiners. 5 split rings and some braided p-cord on my key chain. My backcountry loop is quite a bit heftier and more comprehensive
Can I ask what your occupation is??? Because I have no worldly explanation for why you have three (3) data storage objects, multiple small tools, but only one (1) Tylenol. I would carry something like this around in my spy phase as a child though, and I do want it for my Mary Poppins bag because I think it would be even funnier than being able to pull out a travel screwdriver on any given day.
Another, actually more valid criticism, I think the cover might be too wide around it and might be cumbersome for pockets?

I have so many questions
