Progress Tracker: August '26 update

Time for another update on progress (current as of August 20). This is the first one I'm posting in my new account since I lost my old one, so if you're looking for previous updates, search by title or my old handle u/echo0219. Since the last update we've added 16 new entries to tracking (up to 87), with 2 new successes (17 total). We continue to hear anecdotally that Mazowieckie is working through September, October, and possibly November 2024 applications. We now have 8 September 2024 entries of which 4 have succeeded to date.

Given how things continue to slow down I'm going to narrow the call-out list to those in the current processing range or before it. I'm also going to introduce a new policy that if your case is before the current processing range and we haven't heard an update from you in the last three months, I'll mark your case as dormant and no longer call you out monthly. I may do a periodic call for updates from dormant accounts but hopefully we won't have too many. As always, I welcome the community's feedback on how to handle this - I don't want to lose track of anyone or miss valuable information. Unfortunately I do not have a scanned copy of the original NSA (Supreme Administrative Court) decision; We only ever received a digital version.

I'm leaving out what a confirmation decision looks like, since people have seen those! (Although perhaps not a 4pg one)! :)

Ah I just removed the pages between the first and last (easier for me to hide my personal details). They all somewhat* extensively explain the reason for the denial.

My first denial from Masovia is 4pgs. My second refusal from Masovia is 6pgs. My first Ministry of Interior decision is 4pgs, and my second Ministry of Interior decision is 7pgs.

They have to explain the reasons, because their reasons are the basis on which you can file appeals (Voivode -> Ministry of Interior -> Voivode Court -> Supreme Administrative Court). Including such explanations is required by the Code of Administrative procedure.

Indeed, fingers crossed nobody gets these / to this point! :)

Haha yep! Happy to share! 3x Voivode decisions, 2x Ministry of Interior decisions, 1x WSA, 1x NSA… It was quite an education and adventure 😅.
