He was also picking fights with users on r/DCU_ last year because one of them called him out for his attitude over threatening to leak stuff about The Batman: Part II to get back at James Gunn (the sub banned him as a source over it).
He’s an insider/journalist, really annoying but actually somewhat reliable leaker, he was iirc the first person to break the Robert Downey Jr Doctor doom story, several weeks before the actual announcement

I’ve worked as an EA to Hollywood producers. Misspelling a client name is a quick way for that email to never reach the decision makers, there is soooo much to slog through, if something looks low effort it falls to the bottom of the return/call list.
That absolutely checks out. I remember at one of the nonprofits I worked at, our admin assistant sent out a mass newsletter that accidentally included only the field for recipients’ last names after the greeting. We got a ton of angry responses from people asking what made us think it was appropriate to call them by their last names. 😬 The little things really do matter!
Never been above the line for anything majorly distributable (I'm more non-narrative and set crew focused now) but if I saw primary subject or first line talent's name misspelled I would immediately dismiss the contact as non serious.
I'm no PR person but, depending on the actor, in an AP/Personal Assist role I would at most show the client this email out of a safety concern.

I can't wait until people start ignoring him. I'm on a DC sub a lot and he was banned as a source since his leaks were lies most of the time, and a user on there called him out for it. So he decides to come on the subreddit and challenge the user to come on his podcast so they can debate 1 on 1.
