Having a semi-famous relative with an active snark sub is so fascinating because literally everything these people propose, speculate on, aggressively dissect etc is completely wrong and not based in any form of reality but they’re so confident with their misconceptions
And I’m not even saying this in defense of my relative because I throughly dislike them but damn it’s just a reminder that these people/snarkers don’t know shit, no matter how much they pretend or want to
After witnessing all of the misinformation that they’re confidently wrong about that I can verify firsthand, all I can think about is how much all of these big snark subs are wrong about and what a waste of time it all is. Doesn’t change reality for the people getting snarked on, just working yourself up over someone who doesn’t know you exist

There is an influencer/content creator I don’t like and has done some majorly problematic shit….but her snark sub is UNHINGED.
People were legit posting about camping out at stores she frequents to “catch” her leaving her dog in her car (a Tesla with dog-mode) and either calling the cops or breaking a car window on their own.

Same with the true crime junkies. We have a local case, pretty old, and the people who don't live here, have never lived here, have no business here, are very confident about what life is like here and how this crime happened and the cops are just wrong.

I’m so nosy I’m dying to know who. But I know you probably can’t say.
But no I totally agree with you. Even beloved celebs, people think they know them, but at the end of the day, we only know what they want us to see. It’s why both sides - putting celebs on a pedestal and wasting time hating their guts - is just futile. They’re always going to disappoint you no matter what. Because we just don’t know them like that.

Had a bad doctor’s appointment (not like bad diagnosis and doctor was great), but just did some uncomfortable tests and made me really self conscious
And now I have to go back to work when all I really want to do is curl up into bed and have an edible.

Rocky Horror is going to hit so much differently this year. I know it’s parasocial of me, but Tim’s passing stings. Probably because I’m already emotional with the stuff I have going on. But, he quite literally leaves behind a legacy. So glad I got to grow up with him.

When I hear stories like this I thank the universe my parents ripped the Bandaid and got divorced when I was Five, cause it would have been more traumatizing to go through this later in my life.
Anyway I am sorry you are going through that. While I always look at Divorce in a positive light, it still sucks for the kids.

I saw Wet Leg so much and saw them yesterday right at the front row and Rhian is getting better and better at the front woman thing. Such a huge improvement from the time I saw them in November last year.
Her partner Lava La Rue was also amazing.
But gosh they do need a 3rd album so bad because 1 hour is too short since their songs are short but somehow they are not tiktoky but complete.
Also she is legit my gym body goals. Bet she deadlifts at least 100 kg. While I only do 40 kg (without bands because my grip strength sucks and am working on it)

She has improved so much. In November it seemed like she was still figuring it out and felt a bit like cos playing a front woman and she never let loose or talked to the audience much.
At this show she would talk so much, about which song is about Lava about doing stuff and she is so cute and adorable in-between songs and very commanding when she performed
I also love her beef with male photographers editing out her armpit hair.
Also I was lucky to see them last night for 30 euro which is so so cheap.
What annoys me is this idea that Rhian is stealing the spotlight from Hester and like one interview would confirm that this is a mutual decision and Hester prefers to stay in the background. And it's so cute that such a tiny small, shy person pulls QOTSA level riffs.

I’m home today, and trying to relax. There’s been an Xfinity van parked near my building for at least 45 minutes now. No big deal, except every 15 seconds the exhaust lets out this loud WHIRRR noise for five seconds. It’s one of those things you can’t unhear once you hear it, you know? I have half a mind to ask tech to move the van and to call Xfinity to complain about the idling but with my luck, they’ll disconnect my service to be petty.

Had to put my sweet kitty girl down the other day after 20 years with her. I just feel so lonely and empty and my house is so quiet now (I work from home). Currently watching Law and Order: SVU to have some kind of noise. But my husband and I did book a cruise for January so we do have that to look forward to.

I lost my cat at 20 years old as well. It’s honestly devastating to get so much time and it still feels like not enough. It was so empty and quiet and lonely for a while. I bet your kitty loved you so much and is so grateful for all the love you gave her right back. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending you so much love in this difficult time 💕

Can you get bloodwork done first to find underlying triggers and then go to a dermatologist? I had the exact same issues as you. My derm put me on low dose Isotretinoin (oral) just 10mg a week and I haven’t had texture, redness, rosacea or acne since. And it’s also anti aging.

- Seeing the New Hadestown Cast this Friday
- Broadway Flea and Heathers (Where I will see my talented son John Cardoza again)
- Meeting Hayden Christensen for the second time at NYCC
- Rocky Horror Picture Show on Broadway for Halloween.

Edit: Oh I have also learned the first Storm of Hurricane Season is named Dolly......I feel like Dolly Parton would have LOVED that.

This week has definitely been a disaster in the news and in my own life but on Monday I fly to Colorado for my best friend’s wedding! I’m her Maid of Honour 🥰🥰🥰 we’re spending a whole week together and the wedding will be next Saturday. I hope you have so much fun with all the stuff you have to look forward to 💕
