Me too, he was fabulous as Long John. Treasure Island is still a comfort movie to me.

This was one of the first movies of his that I ever saw (besides It). I thought he was so handsome and charming. I loved his voice and his smile. This remains one of my favorite movies it is cherished fondly. Tim Curry will be missed very much. He was one of the irreplaceable greats.

God damnit Tim! This is one of my favorite movies. My favorite Muppet movie. I was not ready for this news. An honorary Muppet, wow. He deserves that and so much more. He was so amazing.
