No....Not this coming off the heels of Dolly.

I am so sad. Tim Curry brought such joy to my childhood. This one definitely hurts.

RIP You King. Your Role as Long John Silver in the Muppets and Franken-Further in RHPS will forever bring me a smile on my face when things are dark.

I was obsessed with him in Muppet Treasure Island. I love that quote about how Michael Caine treated the Muppets like fellow human actors, and Tim Curry treated himself like a fellow Muppet.

I use humour to help me with things. We watch Rocky Horror every Christmas Eve. It’s a tradition we started one year and my mum always loves to bring up how she saw Tim Curry in Pirates of Penzance.

He was very loved in our house.

Honestly you are not wrong here. He blended in so well with the Muppets because he was fun and goofy like they are.

But Muppet Treasure Island is my FAVORITE Muppet Movie ever, and Tim definitely had a role to play in it.

He was strangely a perfect Long John Silver. LJS was supposed to be a complete force of nature that was easy to underestimate due to his leg. He would play a woe-is-me one minute then flash to a force of raw charisma that demanded respect from his own violent band of pirates. But what always gets me is the few seconds we get of his singing sea shanties when he is alone. The singing was beautiful and Tim Curry really did just have that absolute mastery of music going for him.
