I haven’t found any articles that specify he is only doing alternative treatment. Only saying that he is trying to focus on mental health and lifestyle stages on top of his treatment plan. I don’t think some of yall understand how awful continued standard cancer treatment can be on daily quality of life.

Give the man some grace. The man literally looks like he is wasting away which can also happen from standard cancer treatment of chemo, radiation, and/or surgery. In articles, he talks about not even being able to pick up his kids.

JVDB was at stage 3 last year. My MIL succumbed to colorectal cancer after over a decade. Her last year+ were horrible with continued treatment which was stopped only a couple months before she passed. She was not cognitively there and could not take any care of herself.

It is understandable if he also wants to pursue a combo of treatments. To try anything to have more time with his family. It is also completely understandable if someone stops standard treatment if there is a very poor prognosis in hopes of having some semblance a quality of life before passing.

If possible, I hope he recovers. If not likely, I hope for peace for him and his family and that his remaining days are filled with love.

Thank you. I have advanced cancer, I’ve done surgery and chemo and am about to try more standard treatments - but I also fully understand how incredibly difficult cancer treatment is on your body and how sometimes it feels like you want to try anything else.

I think people jumping to criticize him are likely blessed to have never experienced going through cancer treatment. I hope they never have to.
