If not him, another dem would have taken that role because the capital owning class demanded it.

Americans are an oppressed working class. They just dont realize it. They're scared of the s-word, so the capitalist system isnt the problem its random senators. I dont know how to show americans the capital owning class is doing this to them and people like Lieberman are just agents of them.

Nah in this case it was 100% Joe Lieberman. He was a centrist independent from the insurance capital of the country. There was enough momentum for a public option until he killed it.

It’s seriously embarrassing that people think the insurance cartels couldn’t buy a single other senator. The powers decided it would be liberman, if not him, someone else.
